| 1 | I pay 75% of expenses and my CS just went up.Are you sure she's even buying this stuff for the kids? Sure, she could give you the receipt (or a copy of it), and then just take the stuff back for gas money, or whatever. $ for herself. | 1 | How much is your child support?I know it's the same in IL, too. But I think it's only until age 24??? So, if they don't finish by 24, they're on their own. I think it's just for a bachelor's degree, too. Illinois Law Can Require Divorced Parents to Pay for Child's College. But b/c college cost so much, the requirement is not beyond the cost of current University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign tuition/fees. | 2 | Finalizing DivorceMy mothers dying wish was for me to take care of my grandmother. It was a twenty five year commitment. She lived to ninety-nine. you're a saint, dude! Elder care needs can be all over the place; from needing 24-7 expensive care to being pretty independent. my grandpa lived to be 93 and he only needed care the last 6 weeks, or so. Before that, he was pretty independent, so my mom lucked out! Most people have to do a lot more care than that.
