Women can do the approach if they want male friends. That's how things go. Whoever wants something does the approach. Also, there's zero issue with men not wanting female platonic friends. Your claim that this results in feminism overstaying its welcome is largely unjustified. As always, It shifts the big scary accountability away from women.

You speak like there aren't women that hold even worse beliefs about sex workers.

I can't be the only one they doesn't believe this account is too conventional retarded to be representative of someone's unironic beliefs. It's like they find the most obvious bait content and then defend it to no avail and repeat.

They don't understand that because they get to approach people and beg for money instead of getting unwanted attention they get choose where their next meal comes from. Such privilege

Why is that too far? You aren't particularly entitled to anything. I'll admit that I'm not old enough to remember a time when cat calling was normal, so I struggle to see how you can claim that any amount of withdrawal is too far. Men my age don't cat call and don't compliment random women in "creepy" or "appropriate" ways. It's not malicious, I just don't feel compelled to.

How is this malicious compliance tho?

I have a lot a friends. Male and female. It didn't help with dating. Being attractive helps with dating, which is somewhat in your control and somewhat not. I despise when people lump a bunch of negative characteristics in with being single. Most guys who struggle are just every day, average guys that aren't good aren't dating. It doesn't mean they aren't good at other relationships.

I don't get that too. Throughout high-school and college I've only been attracted to the 4.0 girls in my class.

When comparing young men to young women about only 57% of young men want children https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/02/15/among-young-adults-without-children-men-are-more-likely-than-women-to-say-they-want-to-be-parents-someday/

"However, I view the creation of a family as a pursuit that is higher and more valuable than any kind of "focusing on myself to do whatever benefits me." So if you say "I don't think passing on genes matters" my response boils down to "Cool, I think it does and my body and mind tell me it does." then i guess your post just boils down to this one personal value and would only apply to men who share this value, not men in general. this is perhaps a necessary caveat to mention in your posts.

"No it isn't irrelevant, it's our biological programming. Every time a man becomes aroused it's because he wants to pass on his genes." gay men experience arousal with no apparent desire to pass on their genes. I don't see why straight can't experience the same. Even if we all did have this one burning desire to pass on our genes, we are still humans capable of rational thinking. Man B can evaluate this desire in his circumstance and then decide that this desire doesn't benefit him and choose no…

what's in it for them? "passing on your genes" this is irrelevant to a large portion of men. "finding someone to spend your life with", someone who wouldn't spend that time with you if you didn't bend over and become someone you aren't. "There's no right or wrong in terms of what you should do with your life," I fully agree with you on this. I just think your analysis doesn't account for certain hidden costs for certain men. I think that it is very hard to say what you would do if you were Man B…

the traits that make men desirable require effort. Assume man A, if left to his own devices with no pressure to conform to dating standards, naturally has some of those traits. He needs some (but not too much) work to get to a point where he is desirable enough to have a good relationship. Thus it makes sense for him to do so, as he still has time and effort left to continue to improve himself in matters that are important to him but maybe don't help his dating chances. Imagine Man B, if left to…

for men that aren't desirable, it best to focus on themselves, because it takes a dipropionate amount of effort to get a relationship. However if you are desirable then it costs way less and you still have time to grow whilst dating. I think its best to avoid the pain of multiple rejections to no end, and just focus on having good friends. That's been my experience.
