I'm not sure what I want, just none of that. I don't think seriousness is necessarily causal, just a certain psychopathy. Right now I feel kind of like hunting, where I'm far more afraid of killing the animal (then what?) than anything else.

I don't fear success for fear of breaking another person's heart, rather for fear of other traumatic experiences. My last girlfriend pretended to be pregnant in order to manipulate me, ruining my affection towards her and [temporarily] my desire for a relationship. That was over two years ago, but I still have a hard time trusting. Honestly, don't even know where to begin. Trying though. Reading what I can and slowly putting it into practice.

Dude, you drop some serious wisdom on the regular. I'm not always going to comment and tell you how much I enjoy your posts, but you should know I enjoy a lot of them.

Yeah dude...you're not going to want to have sex with each and every one of them. It's possible to be amicably compatible with someone that is not your sexual type. Go for it.

Why wouldn't you just take her away from the guy. Assuming her name is Jane, why not go "hey jane, let's check this out." Make it awkward for him to follow and he probably won't if he's the way you describe. You can also just talk to other girls & etc at the party. Not coming from an experienced pick up dude perspective, but I would do these things.

Exactly...I'd rather never meet another girl than be that guy.

it's like saying "you're not so hot...the people you're comparing yourself to are fat"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
