Borderline Personality Disorder is my diagnosis. Then that's the more relevant thing to work on than getting women. If you're a building keeling over because you're missing a pillar, focusing on what carpet to get for the lobby isn't going to resolve the problem. Kudos to you on admitting that there is a problem and I wish you all the luck in treating it but if you've got problems in relating to people and yourself realistically, throwing another person into the ocean with you won't make the wat…

Of course. Why else would you dedicate hours to learning the taboo ways of changing yourself unless you started out profoundly unhappy with who you are?

Heard your discussion with Ross Jeffries and it got me into meditation and Buddhism. Looking back now, I was so deep in a hole, I can't imagine successfully digging out with women. What is your experience of how a guy's success in game relates back to his Inner Game? Do some guys become really successful douches or does the selection process wind up filtering them out or otherwise force them to change into more appreciate and genuine people

Yeah, I never ask girls out on dates for this reason. I tell them we should [activity] together.

As someone who seriously struggled in starting, this is advice so premature as to be worthless. It'd be like getting winded after every mile I run and someone saying, "Hey, don't worry about it. Go out and run a 5 marathons. Then you won't care."
/r/seduction01/02/12 08:39 PM

Make your ideal outcome the fact that you approached. So, if you approached at all, then you already have your victory. You put yourself out there. That is enough. Great stuff. I'd just add make sure you don't use this as an excuse to rapidly eject from the conversation. You only earn the "success" points if you then play each conversation out to its natural conclusion.
/r/seduction01/02/12 08:37 PM

Redefine your goal. When you go out for the night (or the day), don't put it in terms of how many numbers you get or whether you attract a girl - make it your goal to find out which girls like you. E.g. "I will approach X girls today and won't give up until I know if they like me." Now, it's a scientific pursuit, devoid of personal investment and the question of success with a girl is properly reframed as a question about her, and not about you.

It actually comes off as a neg if she remembers you and you don't remember her. If she seems to have a reaction to it, you already have something to tease her about by downplaying its seriousness: Her: I can't believe you don't remember me! You: Hey, it happens. I can't remember what I ate for breakfast 2 days ago, but I'll live.

As someone who used to dwell on his past and how it made him somehow a lesser person than others, but now doesn't worry. Dude, don't worry about your past. We were all picked on in school. We all had parents who fucked up in some way. But it's all just a story you tell yourself to make sure present events fit into a familiar paradigm. Turns out none of it matters. You: Can I have your number? Her: Here's my facebook. That is essentially a rejection. And whether a girl turns down your invitation to a band has absolutely nothing to do with who the band is. If she likes you, she won't care if the band is shitty.

If you've been fooling around, I don't see the issue. You've basically popped the seal on the jar, eaten halfway through it, and then said, "Hey guys, how do I finish?" Just keep going. Build slowly enough that she's not uncomfortable, and just do it. Get her clothes off. Ger your clothes off. Put a condom on, and stick it in when you've gotten her in the mood enough.
/r/seduction27/01/12 09:45 PM

I don't know why you'd see this as an issue. If a girl accuses me of being cocky/a dick/an asshole/mean, I beam. It means I've gotten across the image that I want. Being seen as cocky means your image is: You are not a nice guy You are confident You aren't trying to win her You are not a nice guy I know a girl who will call any guy who doesn't reaffirm her every self-praising statement "mean". When she calls me "mean", I know I'm doing it right. I don't explain to her that she's just calling me …

THIS! Game and winning shit tests are not about having the witty fast-response one-liners for every situation. You can't possibly be prepared enough for all of them. Far more important is your general attitude to things, which prepares you for everything.

I value the accessibility of targets over plenitude any day. Trying to pick up girls in noisy clubs or on a dance floor always felt to me like yelling into yelling into a pillow while wallpapering fog. I'll go to them just to be out with my friends or as a place to take a girl I've already picked up, but in terms of picking new women up, the effort was just never worth it to me.

Picked up the girl I am currently dating at the university gym. I have a very regular workout schedule so I tend to see the same girls there day after day. If you've seen a girl enough, you can go ahead and just ask her why she looks so familiar, if she's often there when you are, and suddenly.. BAM, a conversation. I had opened this one girl before and then months later forgotten that I had. Neither of us really remembered each other and she realized we were having the exact same "don't I know …

Better idea: don't pigeonhole women into categories by personality disorder and instead respond to what you see in front of you. Guy is absolutely right about these sorts of women's (and men) manipulativeness, but "don't play their game" is a good lesson to be applied to anyone.

In the house parties, I go out of my way to make sure people are having fun. Try going to a house party and not doing this. Observe. I always get love and respect from other friends in public surroundings (DHV right?). Not if you're doing what you're doing for that love and respect. Try going a week not doing things for the reactions you get from people. Observe. Try these little experiments and see if you can't learn a little bit about why you act the way you do.

The fact that you're asking here shows that you're not confident enough in yourself to deal with the question when it comes. Either you'll come up with something funny or you won't. Thing is, it doesn't really matter as long as your attitude is right. You don't need - and can't possibly have - an answer for every contingency that will come along. Solve the general case and just let yourself be uncomfortable and off-guard every once in a while. This does 2 things for you: makes you more comfortab…

A lot of it is that so many of us feel like the kind of guy who needs to consult people on what we do. That need is about half true because we have social anxieties, (whether overt or hidden to ourselves) and about half true because of the self-fulfilling prophecy that by asking for affirmation, you necessarily need it.

I read it and with headings like, "How bad do you want it?" I didn't read it that way. The article seems to advocate a balls-out-anything-goes dive into creepiness, rather than being okay with it happening accidentally sometimes. To be sure, the worst thing to happen to you is embarrassment, maybe bad rumors, but it's good form to care about how you're making her feel in the process.

True this, but fucking up isn't the same as being ashamed of it later. It's actually good game advice to be less pushy. Most connotations of the word "creepy" include notions far overstaying your welcome. You're going to come off creepy a few times out of ignorance, and there's nothing wrong with you for that happening, but definitely don't do it deliberately.

Actually, just having a noncommittal fluff conversation before walking away is a great way to set yourself up for later. I do this in the gym all the time when (1) it's not likely there'll be time for a real conversation and (2) I'll probably see them again anyway. It's also less pushy to inch your way in like so. Your success rate goes up the more experience she's had seeing you. That way you're not just some random guy, but that guy she's seen around campus. Believe it or not, this makes a pre…

She needs to have the ability to plausibly claim that she was innocent (e.g. you were too charming, she thought you were just going back to watch youtube videos) to herself and often also to plausibly claim that she was innocent (e.g. it didn't happen since no one she knows saw it) to her friends.

"Excuse me to interrupt you, but I find your rather cute and would like to know who you are" Cut off all the polite buffering (e.g. "excuse me to interrupt you"). When a stranger on the street tries to talk to me, they get about 2 seconds before I assume they want something out of me and ignore them. Most people do the same. Also, the politeness buffering in your case is practically advertising that you don't feel worthy of talking to her. As for the content, sure, fine. Say ANYTHING. I'm seriou…

"Alright, let's go have sex." I would veto that. Now that you've explicitly named the game, she might feel slutty going home with you knowing that you're going to have sex. Women in "don't be a slut" society have a brain that thinks separately from the body. Give the brain a plausible excuse, or at least don't set its alarm off, and the body will have permission to do what it wants. If she wants to lie to herself about what it means when she goes home with you, don't get in her way. Interestingl…

maybe this will be the experience that turns me around. This. In fact, this HAD to happen to you for you to learn that missed chances outweigh AA. It wasn't until this had happened to me that I realized, "Oh, I'll talk to her in 5 minutes," was no good.

Have you ever read OKCupid profiles? Do you realize how many women claim they prefer nerds as a personal badge of honor, as if it makes them better people? So deal with it the way you dealt with it here, own it. Her: You're such a nerd! You: Damn right. or Her: Why are you so nerdy? You: That's just my natural charm, babe.

Then you keep pushing until you get an answer you CANNOT lie to yourself about. Start talking sexual with her and see her response. Talk about you and her in sexual situations. You will get an answer. Set an absolute test up that you will accept as falsifiable. A girl kept inviting me out, then flaking on me. She said, "we should definitely hang out next week." That was my test, I told myself. If she doesn't hang out next week with me, I will accept that as proof. She didn't. And I've been relea…

A million times this. The "PUA solution" is to "fuck 10 other girls", the Buddhist solution is to bring yourself back to the present when you find yourself thinking about her. My weak-willed solution is keep pushing until I get an answer I cannot lie to myself about. Then, FREEDOM!

I'm going to second the "silence" piece. I have been a master at killing the sexual vibe by talking too much and oversharing (I'm naturally very talkative), but have managed F-closes when I've let enough silence hang during a date for some tension to build. Let this be a source of motivation to all you introverts out there.

This has happened to me: F-close a girl a couple times. She loses interest and won't go out of her way to meet up with you. IMO, not a whole lot to do about it. If she doesn't prioritize you over her default life, you can't get her to.

If you really dislike the trait, it says more about you than them and it leaves you open to being fucked with when someone accuses you of having the trait. Your reaction will be strangely disproportionate and then you've lost ground. Why so much repulsion and pride on this one thing?

Nah, it's pretty easy to turn a fucked up OKC date into friendship if like me you have the tendency to fuck it up by oversharing. Then she doesn't think you're awkward, doesn't think you're a bad guy. She's just not attracted to you and doesn't really know why.

Naw, you must actually give up on her as a prospect. Continuing to think about a girl who's friendzoned you on these terms will wind up fucking you up and alienating her. This is why I say, "You must be cool with being friends or this won't work." You won't always be capable of this. When you're not, don't try.

think she is long term gf material If she has a boyfriend and you want to pursue her in hopes that she'll break up with him - thus demonstrating that she'll leave a boyfriend for an approaching guy - what makes you think she's girlfriend material? Catch 22, my friend. She's only girlfriend material if you can't have her as a girlfriend. If you can have her, then she isn't. Get out now. The harder you try here, the worse you make it.

If you're trying to make female friends, you can always okcupid them, fuck it up like usual, but be cool with being friends. But you must be cool with being friends or this won't work. Then you have female friends to go out with who'll have female friends of their own.

This has happened to me too. Initial attraction where the girl will go out of her way to see you and fuck you, which decays into she doesn't feel like meeting up, which decays into her just getting tired of it. I have also talked my way out of having a girl attracted to me, i.e. she's into me, then second or third date comes and has lost attraction. The rule of peacocking is always wear something usual a girl can comment on if she's interested. You've basically ensured that you'll always have that. Attention is the premium commodity at any club, bar, or coffee shop. Most men have to work to get attention, which always has the problem of looking like they're trying too hard. A turban guarantees you that you'll never be at a loss for attention or something to talk about. Add to this the fact that it makes you "exotic", that women are curious …

Being smart and "seeing through" this is being the cynic who sits in the theater refusing to enjoy the movie because he knows how all th special effects were done. If you ask me, the "smarter" girl will play along because she knows how short life is and how few opportunities there are for awesome times.

My very sophisticated technique for breaking oneitis: keep pushing things with her until she's forced to give you a rejection you can't lie to yourself about. Approach one of them with absolutely no intention of seducing her. Make friends and do NOT let yourself do anything that would be perceived as an advance. From there invite their group out with your group for dancing or a party or something, narrow down to best target, but be very sensitive to noticing if the target girl is uncomfortable. Anything you do with her (except things she's embarrassed to talk about) will be broadcast through their girls network.

This is been known in the community for sometime. The problem is the difficulty level is higher, that is, it takes balls. Also, it has more consequences if you're in a relatively close-connected area/community. You don't want to get a reputation as being aggressive when it's not welcome. Also when you hit on tons of girls a month, you wind up running into a lot of them and not remembering them. Therefore, this works best in anonymous bars, though unfortunately bars are where direct game is the l…

How a man reads a profile: Check out pics. If she's hot proceed to step 2. Find something you can comment on that proves you've read her profile and ends in a question. This is how men date women IRL anyway. "hi how r u" is proof that he's only checked out your pics. And it's also a really easy message to mass-spam to every girl.

unintelligent replies, age group, education, income, ethnic background, whatever, it's still good to know. I'm just glad to know I'm not getting penalized for writing in the level of English any serious job offer or college would require, u kno? It's ridiculous to take pride in your sexual preferences). Proper gramm…

Is there a subreddit for dating advice for women?/Is there a seduction that's aimed at women seducing men?/Girl here: What things can/does a girl do to move up or down in rating? As much as I love to help you guys out, there's a girl in here once a week asking the same stuff. And if you want to keep a guy attracted forever, you can slam his dick in a door by friendzoning him but never explicitly turning him down so that he'll continue to do all sorts of favors for you in hopes of having a moment…

So just take it and roll your eyes at them? No, this is nearly as bad as giving a perfunctory remark back. It says, "I need you to know that I'm not respecting your remark." If you ignore it completely and say nothing, it allows you to make them look dumb without you having the need to let them know it. TL;DR: True Inner Game value comes from not needing to roll your eyes.

Neediness is the result of feeling inherent scarcity. You worry that you don't have enough for survival, that you're in danger of starving, and worry that just being with yourself will destroy you, and that you need someone to save you from that. The opposite is knowing that you are sufficient, that you already have all the resources you need. There's a great deal of literature on this in Buddhism. I would refer you to anything by Chogyam Trungpa.

I'm going to community college and will be living at home. Shit. I'd advise fixing that. Transfer to another school partway through, find roommates to get an apartment with. You are missing one of the greatest parts of the college experience by not living on campus. Next, be okay with not having friends right away. You've got 4 years to figure it out (actually, you have a lifetime). By NEEDING friends IMMEDIATELY, you can scare people away. You'll find that you just click with some people natura…

Also don't expect to get laid as a freshman unless you are an athlete. Newly arrived freshman chicks know nothing of what college is like except for the drunken frathouse hookups they've seen in Van Wilder, Old School, and Animal House. Correct KINO timing is when you just made an exciting point and it's natural. You should basically be reaching for your KINO bag before you even realize why you're doing it. This comes naturally when you have a rapport with someone and have an emphatic point to make. Watch really the flirty girls at parties with their KINO. They're fucking masters and if you weren't looking for it, you wouldn't even notice. You just know that there's something about talking to this girl that you like.

E.g. she lacks confidence, security, adventure, challenge, fulfillment, emotional connections. It's a common fallacy to think that a woman with money or social status doesn't struggle with the same things we all do. The hottest woman in the world still gets lonely and the richest woman in the world still wants things she can't buy. Very few people, especially women (according to studies) have all their shit supremely in order so don't place that kind of boundary between you and her.

Probably one of the biggest mistakes in seduction is to dismiss something as "her insanity". We're here because pickup with women doesn't work logically. a lot of seduction stuff gears the PUA to enter into healthy relationships but almost encourages Oneitis in the people they picking up. Two thoughts on this: Leave her better than you found her. Show her an awesome time and the only harm you've inflicted is her missing that awesomeness afterward. It's each of our own responsibilities to maintain a sane outlook on early relationships. a) yes thats exactly the point, you are knocking her down a peg But not playfully. b) it would be annoying, but at least you know she can (try to) back it up, and now you are able to transition to a new topic. "Its obvious you love fox news" Why so defensive? Be a bigger guy and not care about her ego. What you're doing shouldn't be aimed for her reaction. That's how you lose power. Again, just my own theories. Go your way if it works better for you.

Armchair advice, but I wouldn't go this route. Either: a) She will see this as you sourly trying to put her down (which you kind of are) or b) She will take you literally and start spouting her wisdom, which would be even more annoying than just a blanket statement of knowing everything. You might get tempted to argue with her and then you're having a stupid argument that's nothing more than a battle of ego.

Why are men so afraid of being seen as pushovers who can't get laid? It's all just socially-valued self-worth. Note that this means girls are a lot less nervous about being considered a slut if their friends aren't around to document the occasion.

Well said. I feel like even the book's ending was softened because it had to conform to an acceptable Don Juan archetype narrative. There's a lot of literature about this. The general advice is to maintain upright posture and if you can't hear them, tell them to speak up. That said, I have no idea how well tall guys actually follow this advice in the field.

I have a friend who is like 6'5" and is just as insecure about being tall and getting women. He thinks the short guys have it easier. Most studies show a preference in women for guys that are a bit taller than them, but you'll do better for yourself if you throw that out. I'm 5'3" and a lot of girls are surprised to hear that. They assume from my personality that I must be taller. That should speak volumes to how much much really matters. EDIT: You can wear platforms, but in terms of Inner Game,…

Her: Well if you wish to wait for me untill 5 in the morning... This sounds a little bit excuse-y. It depends how she said it.
