| 1 | Does this sub believe that "traditional" masculinity and/or gender roles should be promoted/encouraged?1950s-style gender roles are largely worthless and unrealistic for the vast majority of people, especially in today’s economy. I’m probably biased because I’m a masculine woman. I have a naturally more masculine personality, but I am considered particularly unemotional for a woman because I was punished at a young age for being vulnerable and used my masculinity to protect myself.
