I’m 31 and he is 37. He’s talked about serious relationship and future topics already. Also he replied now and you’re right he was busy! I feel like I’m just waiting for something to go wrong because it feels too good to be true. I want to just enjoy this connection but also don’t want to waste my time or get hurt. I guess only time can tell.

Honestly I’ve had many dates where the guy was not like this, even after going on 3 dates. So I can’t tell if this guy is genuine or just smooth.

There is nothing wrong with her messages. The problem is in your head.

That’s ok. She still wants the third date. Watch some YouTube videos about confidence, that can help you before the next date. Search “Charisma on Command” on YouTube.

I still say wait until Wednesday. First ask how her week is going and then you can say that. I am telling you from a girl’s perspective how I would prefer the guy to approach the situation, without seeming needy. Confident guys are more attractive and you should be confident she likes you. If you find it hard to resist messaging her then keep yourself busy with other things.

Ohhh ok got it. Then go with my original plan. Wait until Wednesday before you message her. But I think she will probably reply before then anyway.

Ok there is the issue. In her message she said the Mexican restaurant would have to be THIS weekend. When you replied you said after the beach which is NEXT weekend. Maybe she is confused. So if you are free to meet her this weekend, in this case maybe you could send her a message to say sorry you got mixed up and arrange a date/time for this weekend.

So is it this weekend or next weekend? Personally if she doesn’t respond I would leave it until mid-week. Like Wednesday and you can start a new conversation. Ask her how her week is going and then re-confirm plans (but more specific e.g. date and time). Don’t ask her why she didn’t reply or send questions marks. That’s needy.

In your message you mentioned going to the restaurant after the beach. Did you already make plans with her to go the beach?

4 hours is ok. Do NOT send another message yet. That will definitely be a turn off. Wait at least 24 hours. I am a girl and there are times I open a message from a guy I like but I’m busy and reply later. From her reply earlier I think she is still interested.

How long has it been since she read the message? Based on this conversation I wouldn’t say she is not interested. She could be busy and might reply later.

It’s fine for men to want relationships. It’s not a feminine characteristic at all, that just sounds like some dumb alpha bro wannabe logic

I’m surprised because I thought it’s pretty traditional for the man to make the first move, it’s not like this is a new concept lol (regardless of his experience). Anyways the guy I’ve been dating is older than me, I’m sure he is not inexperienced. I guess I need to make it more obvious that I’m open to it lol

Yeah I’m in a very similar situation and honestly I’m wondering why the guy hasn’t made a move yet. I wouldn’t say I’m shy, but I’m not very forward early on and I like the guy to initiate at least in the beginning stages of dating.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
