I love that this comment angered tiny men with tiny penises who message me then block me. If you’re gonna be man enough to attack me because I hurt your tiny ego, then be man enough to read my replies.

I respect that but I don’t think that if he’s seen her a few days and hasn’t done anything that’s the end of it. A month or two after a couple of small chats? Sure. Men are what they are, but we are all human. I don’t think making polite small talk here and there is harmful. She’s not making a move on him or flirting or asking him out, it’s about at least getting out of the “you’re a complete stranger” phase. If we dismiss every single person like “oh he didn’t completely fall at my feet after s…

I very respectfully disagree with some of the comments that already tell you that he’s not interested. I agree that men have to take the initiative but, if you’ve barely talked to him and don’t know him even a little bit there’s no way to know whether or not he would be interested. If you’ve just seen him a couple times and people are like “oh no he doesn’t like you because he hasn’t asked you out”, that would mean that it all hangs on whether or not he finds you attractive physically. And while…

My mother and I both had this mindset. I luckily got therapy, she married her “savior” and is now unhappy in a marriage were she’s a mommy-maid for a guy who won’t even wash the dishes he uses. There’s no prince coming on a Whitehorse to save you and fix your terrible family/financial/emotional situation.

You said it yourself. This is like going to a mechanic and then trying to sell you all these services, upgrades and even some repairs your car “NEEDS”. 90% of the time it would be just fine without it, but they’re a business.

Based on his entitlement I think his thought process was something like “if I want kids, I deserve them even when I’m a POS and I’m not even factoring in what’s gonna cost me long term cause if they cost me that’s the “systems” problem! Not mine!”

Here’s a thought, buddy. Maybe don’t have kids when you know you’re lazy and have a poor work ethic? What? You thought having kids was just gonna make things financially easier on you?? Idk about you but when I factor kids into my life the first thing that comes to my mind is, I need to have enough money to support them. And working a shitty job that you complain about is not having enough money to support them in the first place.

The anxiety will go away. If you are serious about cutting people like that out if your life, and consider therapy (I know this sounds condescending but it really isn’t! Therapy works wonders).

It’s really sad because he grew up conditioned to think that that was all that mattered. At a point you just have to become self aware enough to question, why do I act/feel like this? But most men don’t.

He was psychotic. Like to this day I’m convinced an actual sociopath or psychopath. Porn addiction, substance abuse, mental and emotional abuse, it was like you said a ticking bomb. I don’t think people who suffer from generational trauma are bad (men or women). I do and it’s hard to be messed up because of things that happened before you were even alive, but the difference is what you choose to do with it. I don’t blame them one bit. I have fallen for MUCH less with men who couldn’t afford a coffee at the places he was taking them, let alone rolling around with bodyguards in Lambos and partying in Greece. The main takeaway I got from it is that he got away because Israel wasn’t tough on him and because he is a man. Now scrotes all over the world are probably buying his $300 course to learn how to scam women and praising him 🤢 I give him 5-10 years before he f*cks himself over again and really ends…

Listen, I can very much understand that this guy is terrified of losing the only good thing he had (his wife and kids), But not only is he abusing her, and fueling the fire in order to feel powerful, he is also not making a very good case for himself. This might be kind of off topic but beware of the Western guy who decides to “go on an adventure” by couch surfing/backpacking through Asia or Latin America. Just a small suggestion, you might be giving her feelings and opinions on your own dating life too much importance. You have to set boundaries, next time she brings it up say “I will not discuss this with you any longer” and if she goes on you can politely leave the room. Honestly it’s draining to have someone stress you out about your own life. It’s not her choice.

All Too Well is a fan favorite. If you watch her interview with Seth Meyers she talks about how now that she’s re-releasing her old music, she has an opportunity to release songs that weren’t originally singles as such and make music videos for them. Honestly, it’s really smart. It’s going to get the album sales up and make her more money. She’s been in a happy relationship with another guy for five years so I seriously doubt that she’s still thinking about him. She wrote the album 10 years ago …

For me personally its worse when it’s a 20 year old with an older guy because man, I think of myself at 20…I was just a kid. You’re not even old enough to drink or rent a car. You’re probably in college or starting a career. Being 30, I wouldn’t be super against dating a guy who is 39 purely because of the age difference, but if he’s never had a serious relationship, that’s a red flag. Not sure if other FDSers would agree with me though.

Musician? I once knew of a guy in a band who took women’s telephone numbers and instead of writing their name on the contact he would just write the city 🤮 like imagine being “New York” or “Miami” or whatever on someone’s phone.

“My greatest treasure other than my baseball card” SIR. Don’t you have another child? Something about him saying “a gorgeous healthy daughter” also rubs me the wrong way as I know his son with Anna Faris went through some health issues.

I once “dated” someone who had full sleeves and a chest piece that went down to his belly button and all he ever talked about was how he hated them and wanted them covered-up/removed. I was so confused. Like sure ok I have one coverup but half of your body? Like what’s the deal??

He makes 80k a year and won’t buy her a 6-10k ring?! She let him move in with her, cared for him while he recovered from surgery AND got him a job “but we don’t talk about that” = that doesn’t matter cause it was HE who was benefiting from it. F- this guy.

They banned me too for a comment that had nothing to do with FDS 🙄 I wonder if their mods are patrolling just as hard to ban the men who belong to incel/red pill subs. My guess is no. Like, they seriously have the time to go through every woman’s profile and ban FDS members? Get a life.

I have heard terrible stories about him including a story from a make up artist that did his make up for a cover shoot of a small magazine back in the day. He is apparently very unpleasant, rude and short tempered. My friend gave me a ticket to his concert as a gift and Megan was there. I will say that she seems to be very supportive. Every time I see a musicians girlfriend or wife at a show they always look like they’re having the worst time and hate their life. Megan was laughing, smiling, dan…

Absolutely! I really hate how the only thing that works is “I have a boyfriend”. I had a scrote harass me at a beach in Hawaii very similarly to this guy and of course nothing worked until I dropped in the boyfriend comment. Learn to listen and accept rejection, dammit.

Im so mad at this. I’m even more mad at the WOMEN in the comments telling her she should’ve shut him down sooner. That is how women end up dead. Bluntly rejecting psychos like this guy. My heart was racing with hers. And of course the scrote wouldn’t back off until she used the good ole “I have a boyfriend”.

Yeah how dare we be sick of poor, abusive and misogynistic treatment?! It’s projecting at its finest. Men that don’t feel like they’re good enough for women further resent us for having standards. And I don’t mean that in a hateful way, but those men don’t need a woman to abuse and to act out their trauma on, they need a therapist.

Amazingly enough monogamy is observed in many different species. If they are going by the logic of “Biology is why I can’t keep my dick out of several women’s vaginas” they casually ignore the FACT that humans have been practicing monogamy since the days of Homo erectus because it gives us a greater chance to raise our offspring. So just because certain species that are in the wild do it doesn’t mean that it is an excuse, you are more than welcome to go live within those species though.

Second that the plane ticket is the big expense unless you stay in fancy hotels. I’m 29 and I hostelled my way around Europe in my 20s. If your self esteem is down and your trauma haunts you, you will be a magnet for people that want to take advantage of that. Before this year I had the same issue and kept wondering why everyone I dated was just in some mission to mess me up further. It’s because I let LVM and NVM into my life. I could have written a lot of this myself. I just want you to know, you’re amazing at what you do. Do not let her continue to bring you down. I’m 29 and I’m trying so hard to break free of this narcissistic/abusive/pickme cycle. All she does is complain about her husband but she will never leave him because she’s a pickme and I honestly feel sorry for her. But it’s not my burden to carry, it was never my burden to carry, and it was never your burden to carry.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/09/21 06:23 AM

If he’s just running to Tinder immediately post breakup this says everything about him and nothing about you. He’s clearly just trying to make himself feel better post-breakup. Whatever he finds there won’t last, and if it lasts I feel bad for the woman. I would never want to date someone who was just trying to feed his ego on Tinder after a girl rightfully dumped him. Cause whatever he did to her, he will mostly likely also do to me.

It’s great that you came to FDS as a lot of ladies here will have some solid advice but even if the advice was “it’s nbd” and you still felt shitty about it, it’s an issue. Your feelings are valid. There’s no such thing as overreacting, you’re simply reacting. I have a 0 tolerance for that shit now. I love my boyfriend so much but if he ever verbally disrespected me or hinted at physical or sexual aggression, I’m walking. I just saw the picture of what Sarah Everard was wearing the night she was raped and brutally murdered. Pants, sneakers, several coats on, a shirt that showed no cleavage and a beanie. She literally couldn’t have been more covered. People are monsters. And that tweet is idiotic.

This applies to some Asian and Latino cultures as well. I’m from Central America, when I lived back there I worked, had a car, had my own apartment and had my trademark sassy attitude, men hated every single aspect of it.

This man killed a three year old child amongst others because he was mad he couldn’t get a gf. The whole thing is disgusting. Those “requirements” we have at FDS for the most part fall under basic human decency, hygiene and emotional maturity. And men whine about it because they’ve had a free pass to be mediocre for too long.

This could be a thesis 👏🏼 I love Taylor. I am so grateful that she has always been so honest and so willing to write about these things because she made me feel less alone. And now she’s in a great relationship with an HVM and I constantly root for her. She’s smart and talented and wonderful.

It matters. If it’s too small I can’t feel anything. If it’s too big it hurts. 6-7 in. is chefs kiss I used to tell men that were smaller that it doesn’t matter and that theirs was OK because I felt bad criticizing a part of their bodies that they have no control over. After how they treated me, I should’ve told them that their micro penises would’ve never gotten me anywhere.

This. I have lived here for two years and I would never set foot on Camelback, especially during the summer. I did South Mountain a few months ago and at one point it got too steep for me so the people that were with me continued on without me (I insisted) but they left me with a full hydroflask of water, a fully charged cell phone, a flashlight and told me not to move and that they would be back in 20 minutes. One of them texted me every 5 mins to make sure I was ok. This asshole murdered her.

They just released new information saying that his initial statement contradicted what he’s saying now. He initially said he hiked the mountain all the time now he is saying that was the first time. Camelback is no joke, that is not a mountain for beginners. Don’t ever go hiking or walking to meet a man you don’t know. And don’t ever fly out to meet a man you don’t know, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been “talking”online. I almost got caught into that myself earlier this year and I’m SO than…

Sharing anger and frustration is something women do all the time with their female friends, FDS or not. It’s part of the human experience. Arguably if men were overall less shitty we might have less anger and frustration relating to men, dating and relationships but there’s nothing wrong with being angry and frustrated at poor behavior and shitty treatment. It’s about time women were done accepting it and bottling it up, it needs to be talked about. Sorry not sorry to the fragile men that are in…

Those men who have a problem with FDS is because they see the qualities that makes them LVM and NVM on here reflected back like a mirror for the first time and once those insecurities shine through they lash out. I have been with a HVM for 6 months and he has never had an issue with FDS, he actually agrees with most, if not all of it.

I go to school for Biology. There is a reason (well many reasons) why humans (mostly 🙄) are more advanced than thousands of other species who mate with multiple partners in order to ensure their species survival. There are WILD animals proven to be monogamous. You're telling me seahorses, eagles, most penguins, etc. Successfully mate for life but you can't help screwing multiple women because "BIOLOGY!"?! Go fuck yourself scrote, how many chromosomes are you missing?

Yeah definitely. I was on the same boat as that last paragraph that you described. Therapy helped me a lot. I was on a self-destructive path of going from toxic situation to toxic situation and just being super open and giving cuz I so badly wanted that connection. Like you said, it's only human to want it. If you have ever considered therapy I would highly recommend it, it will save you so much heartache.

Totally get what you're saying, if I may, I just wanna say be careful with this. If you do find someone to do this with, don't let texting all day keep you from doing other things like going outside and meeting new people. And also if you're texting one person all day just make sure that they're putting the same effort back, and that you're not the one who is always reaching out because it gets very emotionally draining. I'm not judging you at all for wanting this is just that I've been there an…

I feel like there are people that only text you when they need to talk about themselves. Like they'll text "how are you doing?" I feel like that's a very human thing to do and I don't mind doing it every now and then, I care about my friends. Ring price aside, these two have different priorities and if the price of the engagement ring is causing this much trouble, they should not get married. What's going to happen when they have to buy a house? Or a car? FDS-wise: honey if you're not going to buy her that $25,000 ring somebody else happily will. So let her go and let her find somebody who will.

This is honestly one of the best advice out there. Do not make excuses for them. They are grown men and if they struggle with emotional maturity and/or communication it is not your job to meet them halfway, or work on it with them, or push them to get therapy, it is their responsibility.
