I have seen one response. According to it, child support is a financial obligation that does not concern a man's bodily integrity in the same way as deciding whether to continue pregnancy does for a woman. The assumption is that bodily integrity is a superior right compared to property.

In one case I am aware, a falsely accused man made the mistake that he told stories that could be proved to be false. So, the woman's version was judged to be reliable. If he had just stayed silent, that might not have happened. At least, his false story could not have been used against him.

The claim is not even true. Matriarchal tribes had a lot of males with no useful state of life, so both inter-tribal and intra-tribal violence were common.
