Jodie is the face of the failure, but I blame Chris Chibnall, whose own shitty writing is only surpassed by his shitty and woke showrunning. (The episodes he wrote for previous Doctors ranged from barely-mediocre to lousy.) The only hope to save it is to have the remaining episodes perform so poorly that the BBC has to cancel again like they did in ‘89. Perhaps it could be rebooted again in a new era, once strong men again make for good times.

Hell, if I could get a robot that would make my meals, wash my clothes, make my home, and carry on some pleasant conversation, that would put it head and shoulders above dealing with a woman—no marriage, but also no potential accusations of MeToo (or regular female nonsense) from a maid.

I got it because I work in a public-facing role with a large number of vulnerable folks. No ill effects other than sore arm for a day after each dose (Moderna). I see you’re in the Pittsburgh area (username gave it away, other post confirmed). I’m going to echo the “get out” message, but with specifics. If you get out of the city, you should be able to find some relatively inexpensive places to rent. My concern is these ideas came from somewhere (and I doubt you could have known her for that long without being aware of it if she had been a feminist the whole time). Be wholly prepared to walk away. I’m not saying to do that at this point, but if you need to, grieve it like someone who has Alzheimer’s. If you can tolerate Voat, there’s one there. I can’t vouch for quality, as I’ve not used Voat for a while. ETA: The Subverse doesn’t seem very active, a post every few days. ETA2: Another alternative and free-speech Reddit clone is Ruqqus (ruqqus.com). There is also a MGTOW community there, and the community seems less toxic as a whole than Voat.
