You won't care not because you become numb to it but because you realize how inconsequential it is. You understand that it has happened before and will happen again so why not just keep enjoying yourself and keep taking the shots. By going out often though you can speed it up only because you'll be getting more practice AND you might be getting rejected a lot. The key to becoming needless is to realize how little a rejection means. That comes from being rejected a lot. Eventually you literally won't care. There is no "mindset" you can just switch to per se and not give a fuck.
