its just difficult with the timing and heat, you do it at just the right time with the perfect heat to bond or you will fuckup the alu by burning a hole through it, steel is way more forgiving, but steel is too hard and too heavy for most jobs, it's why aluminum is mainly in use for most things these days. the more specialized the trade the more you can be a jerk and people will just have to put up with your shit too, and make sure you are keep happy with pay and the like. I love i did a trade and have the skills, it costed me about 3k to setup my trade tools but the skill and knowledge is priceless and puts you miles ahead of other vying for your work, moneys great and if you are in the right trade and , not that many hours either.
