I like men who are in control, provide for me, are protective etc but I don't view that as wanting an authoritarian father figure. Also men in my experience respond way better when you act more childlike, not childish though. As far as the sexual attraction bit, hell to the no about the "daddy" thing. The more authoritative the man is, the less I feel comfortable, and the less I feel comfortable the less sexually attracted I am. I do like non forced, non weirdo DDLG dominance, but it has to be e…

Very true. The guys I know that get the most casual sex are very good at making the girls feel special or like there's a connection even if there's not one.

Yes, so I stopped using tinder and bumble. But all the guys I talk to are young and around my age so I guess I shouldn't expect any less. Also have a dude that claims I'm playing games or acting difficult when his first date idea was to book a room for valentines day, which I hard passed because what the fuck.

I just started sewing/altering clothes, but mark my words if I ever get good enough at it and have enough money, I'm going to make a clothing line for short women and especially short women with big boobs. The girls with big asses have fashion nova, where is the equality?! Also anyone have recommendations for short ppl as far as buying pants? Everything either comes up past my belly button or the crotch drops so low I look like aladdin.

Yes. The average man just looks like a functional normal person. The average female is better looking. We're called the fairer sex for a reason lmao.

asking for youtube/netflix recommendations cause I'm the type of person that rewatches things they've already seen until they hate it because i hate consuming new things. as far as youtube channels go, i like channels that analyze things (especially in a bitchy way) anything from analysis of horror or bitchy gays tearing apart met gala looks. but anything goes, just looking for entertainment that might prove educational to watch while i'm doing other things.

My beliefs on relationships piss a lot of people off and confuse them. I don't care, cause I'm not trying to be in a relationship with them. My mom was a masculine woman that never understood game, always picked garbage men (except my dad) and then wondered why they did what they did. Very forgiving. Would never ask for anything from a man, I think she even proposed once. I'm the exact opposite- I'm hyper feminine, but I had to learn game since she didn't teach it to me, would literally swallow …

I already get called a fuckboy in a girl's body... imagine how bad I would be as a man. I'd probably be as toxic as future. I made myself as a man in the sims 4 once and I looked hot, I'd be set. I'd just be a fuckboy until I met a girl that I felt was worth being a simp over. If she breaks my heart, I'd just use it as fuel to be even more toxic and use it to guilt trip unsuspecting victims. I know ALL the lines, I'd be manipulating bitches left and right.

Only about 8 times out of 10. Passion, infatuation, lust etc are all important in their own right but they're not love. They can and do all exist in the concept of romantic love but romantic love is much more calm and "boring" in the best sense of the word IMO. It feels more like safety, security, mutual needs being met (which includes sex), it's not all consuming and crazy all the time. If love fizzles out, it wasn't love in the first place.

A lack of a conversation IS a conversation in of itself. Tale as old as time: girl and guy meet, flirt, like each other, fuck, meet each others friends, care for each other when sick, sleep over 5 times a week etc for a year or two then guy pulls the "Woah you're not even my girlfriend" card in an argument. Then girl realizes she went through all that only to realize she has nothing to show for it. Having a relationship talk eliminates that.

This makes me sound like a stuck up bitch but lack of effort. I used to have guys that would confess "feelings" for me very early on, try to be serious, and of course I didn't feel the same because why would I when I barely know you from adam, they'd get very salty and mad when I was very nonchalant. My philosophy is if you want a chill normal relationship, act chill and normal. If you want to start off with all these confessions, "I could treat you so much better than your ex", YOU created thos…

Just got this cute little mini sewing machine i'm so excited!! But also really fucking confused. The guide that came with it is very unhelpful and there's so many parts. I'm rly excited to learn though because I'm short and have weird proportions so now I'm not limited by a standard Small size being too big but also needing a medium to fit my stupid boobs.

Tallness isn't really important, but it's just an added bonus. I wouldn't go out of my way to screen for tall guys, but I'd never complain if a guy that I liked happened to be tall. Actually, I will complain, because it's a pain in the ass to kiss standing up when there's too much of a height difference. Idk, it's not a logical thing. He lorge. Takes up more space. More of him to love.

That's not love. Love is accepting someone with their flaws (something that women do way too much), not pedestalizing them.

Obsessed with me, not easily offended, good at communication, can hold a conversation thats not flirting (when I like someone, I hate flirting), 5'4-5'10 but I wouldn't reject a guy for being taller obviously, I'm open to most races except for mexican guys (not just latino, specifically mexican. i've dealt with too many), tattoos, good sense of humor, non neurotic, Taurus/Capricorn/Sag, alpha bux (it's not that rare, a lot of masculine guys i know are super prideful about taking care of their wo…

Is this 3 months of exclusive dating or 3 months of "dating"/"talking"? I'll make a guy wait however long I damn well please if we're not committed. However after commitment, no guarantees on my self control lmao. Still working on that one. No woman is ever going to apply the whole "paying top dollar for a used car" anecdote to herself unless she's mentally ill and has low self esteem.

Yes and no. In my head I'll want him more cause I have a captain save a hoe complex but I would never go for him because jealousy is one of the very few emotions I'm familiar with and if I don't control it, it will consume me. Better to not put myself in the position.

Oh haha I don't feel bad at all for hexing those people. They deserved it. I don't know, I guess I'm in that phase. I'm very obsessed with being accountable for things and taking responsibility, but it's overwhelming to see all of your flaws laid out there in your mind. I guess I feel like if I could eliminate all of those flaws, I could protect myself. Thanks for your analyisis it really helps to see things from outside of my own perspective.

I'd just keep doing what I'm doing, probably start stripping in college, save up a lot of money, and start a cult. I imagine it would be freeing. Knowing I could never have it would free me of that desire, and I'd live my best nun life.

This is a lot but: I withhold emotions because I have this irrational fear of letting people have power over me via making me feel a certain way. Never showing anyone that I care about them because I refuse to believe that they care about me. I know it's just projection of my own worldview or whatever but I even get disgusted with people who "care" about me because I sense that they are pedastalizing me or trying to get something out of me. A lot of girls and young women I know literally say shit like "who invented womens rights? I bet it was men trying to trick us into working" on the daily, even as a joke there's some insight to how the younger generation is feeling. There's a split in every woman's consciousness. The urge to be free and independent, and the urge to do trad shit. Some people don't fight with that split as much because they naturally lean more one way or the other.

Sometimes it helps if you just mirror them and act like you're playing a character. If you have the strength, that is. If she wants to talk about shallow stupid shit, start smacking gum in your mouth and replying with dramatic "Oh wow!"s and "no way"s.

Discovered the real reason I'm single is cause I'm evil. I'm literally just the most toxic fuckboy in a girl's body. It was with a new guy I was seeing, I was young and dumb and thought us cuddling/talking for hours before having sex and him buying me food meant he actually liked me. The sex itself, as far as like the techniques and shit? Nothing spectacular, but when we first started seeing each other he put effort into getting me in the mood, making me feel comfortable etc.

I don't know, I can't feel any desire without comfort. Although I'm not married or in an LTR, so I don't have experience in that ballpark either. I'm too neurotic, I legitimately can't imagine a situation where I could become aroused without "comfort".

I find both ends of the spectrum unappealing. I wouldn't be with a guy who lived a "modest and frugal" lifestyle, I'm materialistic. But the thought of yachts and designer bags and blowing money on stupid shit makes me cringe. I'd just break it off. No offense to him, we're just incompatible.

Relieved. Excitement and all that shit is well and good but feelings are temporary. I don't want someone to be with me on a whim or because I scratched some deep psychological itch or compulsion. I want someone to want me in a healthy way. Strong feelings and excitement without commitment/safety/stability is just like a drug addiction. I realize ironically my obsession with a relationship being "healthy" is inherently unhealthy and weird. Oh well thems the breaks.

As a senior in high school, here's observations: young guys just have less libidos. They all act gay or asexual, or like children. Even some of the "cute" guys from my high school that had more than a few chances with girls, they wouldn't take them. Even if the girls were hot, it was weird. Some of them are saving their virginity for non religious purposes. I know this doesn't answer the why, but it's baffling to me too. Yes. All men have a feminine side and all women have a masculine side. In the yin and yang symbol, there's a little of black and white on each side. In the coming years, you're going to see both sexes exploring their shadow side or "inverting".

They're not barriers, they're preferences. A hot guy with a shaved head and some facial hair? Hard to imagine, but I'm sure they exist. However, many bald guys with facial hair are more reminiscent of my step father- overweight, not too good looking, bald, with a goatee. Or even my favorite teacher. The overall association I have with that combination is not one of lust and attraction. However, there are many men without facial hair and a full head of hair that ARE attractive. I don't really sexually desire anyone before finding out they desire me. I don't think love really has much to do with lust. They can definitely coexist, and add to each other, but me loving someone doesn't mean I sexually desire them. My desire is pretty dependent on how they make me feel, so if they're performing their end of the deal it's easy for me to feel that level of desire necessary.

I don't like blondes or long faces. I think blair is way hotter because her eyes are bigger and her face is more delicate/feminine looking. She's so expressive and Serena is just... flat. Like that episode from season 1, serena is commercial and "fun", blair has that elegant charm.

Serena van der woodsen is the worst character in gossip girl. Blair is NOT the villain. Give me the choice between a damsel in distress with no self awareness or accountability and personality outside of being helpless and "fun and flirty" who's honestly a 7 in looks or an intelligent evil snarky bitch that will stop at nothing to acheive her goals, who is also hotter than the other girl, and I'm picking blair waldorf every time.

In my ideal relationship, I'd be pretty much mostly submissive. It kind of pains me to say that because I'm such an individualist, headstrong type of bitch. But it's just easier to go with the flow and not care than try to fight for imaginary "power" in a relationship. Let him think he's the big man in charge, only benefits me more. The only area I'm naturally submissive in is sexually, though.

I'm young (18) so throughout my brief dating history guys have tried to slap on the girlfriend tag within 3 days of meeting me. women don't think fuckable means high value because all women are fuckable. that's why there's so much dissonance. women value men for who they are, men value women based on their sexuality. women would LIKE to be valued for who they are, men would LIKE to be valued for their sexuality.

I don't mind if he hides it. I wouldn't ask unless we were married for like years, so at that point I wouldn't be upset. But he better hide it good. Pragmatism is important in love. Emotions and passion are fun, but what happens after the initial excitement dies down? Loyalty, compatibility, and accurately assessing someone's character are all pragmatic and necessary to have a healthy relationship. Teenage relationships are all about "I'm bored, everyone else is getting in a relationship, I need to be in one too, do you want to have disappointing sex in the back of my mom's minivan?"
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/19 06:47 AM

Not in a relationship but when I am in one, I am pretty submissive but not on purpose. I don't really like to be controlled or belittled, so I don't do it to the guys I'm dating. Then my level of submission depends on what value he's providing, if he's super committed to me then I'm very submissive. I'm a dominant person outside of relationships but have no desire to be dominant in a relationship.

Therapists, family friends, some of my older female friends.

I'm 18 now, hard cut off is 25-ish. I've always been told I'm mature for my age, to have a successful relationship I'd need to date significantly older, etc, but I just find it weird. I suppose I've probably been attracted to the odd 30 or 40 year old man without knowing, but just the thought of telling my friends "Yeah the guy I'm seeing is 30" is odd to me.

Oh definitely. Beta isn't always bad, it implies loyalty/doing nice things for her, bragging about her to his friends. He just has to balance out those traits with alpha traits as well.

Every man can go beta AF as long as they think they've found their unicorn.

Yes. Almost every attractive male I have ever met either is a fuckboy or has the capacity to be one. I don't necessarily equate that with being commitment phobic, in fact they tend to be great in relationships as long as they're with a girl that they deem is a prize.

We don't view ourselves as the "bitch" in question. Every woman thinks she's special and has the unforgettable golden pussy. And the weeknd's lyrics have this IDGAF energy that's magnetic. Every single line is a great instagram caption. You're overthinking this.

No. If I'm already attracted to the man, then sure. But seeing a rando with muscles does nothing. But then again, if I'm attracted to a guy, everything about him gets me going.

Interesting. I think in today's society, especially for younger people, there's a tremendous pressure to be your own brand and it creates a lot of awkwardness and neurotic self obsession. Those insecure/socially retarded people hear "be yourself", panic, and overshare.

I think it's difficult for a "good man" or "good woman" to be defined in of itself. When most women say "I want a good man" they just mean a man that's a good fit for them when most men hear "morally good". Women are also viewed as being more in tune with social norms aka Morals, while men are viewed as needing correction and to be kept in line. Both views are dehumanizing to both genders IMO.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
