And how did she fake a pregnancy for him. Did ahe wear the baby bump around him? Did they never see eachother naked? I feel so bad for the victim and her family. Especially the other child(ren) that the article implied she had. How tragic. I hate texas but bless the death penalty. This lady deserves it.

That's really cool. All my local hospital had was wristbands 7 years ago when my child was born so the baby didnt get the ol swicheroo. I recall there being some checks and verification by staff before we left with a baby though.

It's different in each state. Feds are 15% off. In my state, if you get drug offender sentencing alternative (DOSA) you could get 50% off. Most crimes are 1/3rd off. Sex offenders have their own bullshit sentencing alternative. Dont get me started on SOSA

In the case of people doing life without possibility of parole, it doesnt mean a thing. For anyone else it's a reward for not breaking prison rules, some times resulting in a percentage of their sentence being lifted. Usually 15% for federal crimes and as high as 50% for drug offenses. (DOSA). The standard in my state for normal offenses is 1/3rd off your sentence for good time.

I dont think i've ever seen any guys cry in court and that would be in jail anyway, not prison. I agree with you. Im sure most inmates have broken down at one point or another. I remember my celly going to court so i had the house to myself and let it out. But whatever. Not all inmates are animals. Most people, when sobered up and off the drugs become pretty normal people.

You're welcome! I've had a lot of experience finding dirt on people. Inmates are easy enough. Merry xmas and happy holidays!

I see her charges now. Rereading this article, I hope she does have a shitty time in prison. pleaded guilty in September to two felony counts of abandoning or endangering a child causing imminent danger or death, bodily injury or physical or mental impairment, and two counts of injury to a child, according to People

Most of your rights are taken from you in jail. Yes, it's completely legal for them to read your mail and it's not really a big deal. They even scan suspect pages with a UV light to make sure no drugs are coming in. Stamps are cut out of the corner of envelopes in a lot of places because drugs were hidden underneath (think lsd, liquified meth, suboxone, etc) Legal mail is opened by an officer infront of the inmate and the pages are thumbed through to make sure theres no drugs or contraband in th…

You're right but the prison staff also censors mail. They read every single thing that gets sent in. It could still be found out via news or over the phone. Some inmates subscribe to the newspaper in prison. They got rid of it in my county's jail for that specific reason.

Nobody gives a shit unless it's a sex offense actually. I've wasted about 3 years of my life in jail and prison. I dont know where you got your info but that's not how it works. Edit: if they found out the details of your crime they might target you because you murdered a child but the reality is that when inmates paper check eachother they only show their convictions. Victims name and age arent listed there.

Let me tell you how it really is. Inmates do paper checks. Those papers say things like, rape, murder, assault. They do not list who the victim was. As far as i know there isnt a seperate charge for 'murder of a child.' Sex offenders are the only ones who are hated by the other prisoners. Nobody cares about murderers or domestic violences.

This needs to be higher up. Just dont marry. If youve been together 10 years you might be ok.

Its definitely not a strike crime. Those are reserved for murder, rape, first degree burglary... This is just a theft charge. Not violent crime.

I cant wait till my ex hits the wall. (We have a kid.) Once she has to play on level as just a regular person maybe she will grow a personality and not be such a self centered cunt. It's coming soon folks! Shes 35 and the drugs are starting to catch up with her.

I get that. If they make it through some army rangers type training, theyre better than most imo. I dont know what training she went through but i can assure you, i couldnt do it. Edit: the jobs not for everyone. You gotta be in shape to pass the test. If they did, equal to their male peers, then they are all good in my book. Im just saying... Men arent shitty and women arent shitty People are shitty

Are we really going to hate on women here? Send another woman or man. Im sure equal assets to a team are given. Its not all about hand to hand combat. She could be the most accurate with a pistol for all we know. I dont mean to white knight but their brains work the same way ours do. Im a tall lanky man. You gonna gatekeep me bc im not stacked like a bodybuilder?

Whoa. In america she wouldve been in cuffs the first time she pushed the cop. And if they have to use their weapon (in this case, the pepper spray) it's policy that you are getting arrested and going to jail.

That oughta be child abuse. How did they even get a kid to begin with? Now i'm not saying gay or trans people cant raise kids well but the secondthey start forcing their choices on them instead of letting their bodies do their own biological thing it's incredibly fucked.

Like when a cop pins your hands behind your back and cuffs your wrist together tightly? It might not fly in the states but fuck that. Some times force is necessary. The cop watching was cool with it. If she got thrown on the ground and stomped out it would be different. Frankly, she's lucky.

They were good analogies but no... Just no I think things are fine just the way they are. If you're even 20 or up and still find attracted to a 16 year old something is wrong. Shit i'm 32 and just thinking about how immature and full of drama a women 18-25 is makes my dick run and hide. To want to be with someone young is probably because they can be manipulated. Very predatory looking and sounding.

The piece of paper that was notorized literally said that he knew it was his ex wife and he was going to lie to her. It was evidence of his innocence. Did you read the article?

You see a judge for a prellminary hearing within a day or two of getting arrested. There you are assigned a temporary public defender. He probably gave his statement then, his defender filed paperwork for a motion to dismiss and then a couple more days for that court date. Looks like he was prepared and knew what to expect.
