Just because that subreddit doesn’t like it anymore doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it. I just ordered a TON of stuff from Modcloth and I’ve loved all of it. It’s all been good quality, easily washable, and super cute. I’ve gotten compliments on everything I’ve worn from there. Might give it a try just to see :) they have a good return policy if you don’t like it. Other suggestions: eshakti, unique-vintage, pinupgirlclothing, voodoo vixen, and Amazon. I’ve also found some cute things at Kohls lat…

Look at the Bikini Body Guide from Kayla Itsines. It's a great way to get introduced to weights!

I like the rotation idea.

The dogs aren't that expensive! We spend about $40 every couple of months on their food and treats and we get free/very cheap vet care! I'm not a huge meat eater either. We have meat about 3 times a week. Right now we have a lot of deer so we're eating that for free which is nice lol! We're going to start a veggie garden next year - I can't wait! My beauty budget is non-existent basically lol. If I get my hair trimmed or manis/pedis, it comes out of my fun money. Husband's hair is cut at home. T…

I loooove tuna. I can't have it right now but as soon as I can...I'm gonna make a huuuge batch of it lol. My husband won't eat tuna but at least it'll be good for my lunches!

We LOVE Costco! We have a $50/mo stockpile budget but I need to keep an eye out for sales so I can make it go further.

Thank you!! I'm going to start morearning detailed meal planning so I can make those things from scratch more often. And will definitely check out some ethnic stores for cheaper spices!
/r/RedPillWomen13/04/17 01:38 PM

I so need to utilize the slow cooker more. I think that would really help keep me on track because then it's less to do once I get home from work!

Thank you!! I would love to start baking more, and my husband LOVES homemade bread - adding that to the list! We only drink almond milk so at least we're saving there :)
/r/RedPillWomen13/04/17 01:35 PM

Thank you!! Totally agree about eating healthy being worthe more. When we were eating clean, it was so much cheaper and we felt/looked amazing! We've kind of fallen off the wagon unfortunately, and are trying desperately to get back on it. And I know it's my job to get this under control! We don't eat a ton of dairy so maybe a quasi-paleo would be a doable thing for us? Love fresh fruit though, so that would have to stay haha. We don't eat a ton of it so that should be fine. Also, we're putting …

I wish!! The nearest one is like 6 hours away haha. We're gonna be traveling that way this summer though, so I'm gonna see if we can stop in and check it out!

Lol thank you for the tips!! Luckily we live in a very low col area so I know it's doable....it's just the doing part lol. I should have clarified on the toiletries - we buy those in bulk from Costco once a year I'd guess, and I have a $50 "stockpile" budget every month, so that definitely helps!! I'm also lucky to have a well stocked pantry already! I definitely need to start looking at the sales before I meal plan though. That would help us a ton...like, who knew that asparagus was so freaking…

This is the bad part!! I meal plan every week! And buy the ingredients, and then I get home and I'm like eeeeh let's go out! It's seriously a terrible habit I've gotten into, and I think if I just STOP that, we'll see a huge savings! Normally we are super dedicated about our health and eating healthy but lately we've just been letting it slide, ugh.

Thank you!! These are great tips, and I'm gonna check out that site!
/r/RedPillWomen13/04/17 01:19 PM

This is exactly what I need - different ways to use the same item!! I feel like I let so much go to waste. I also really need to start freezing stuff like that. It saves us so much money to make things ourselves, but I've just been lazy! Ugh, so disappointed in myself.
/r/RedPillWomen13/04/17 01:16 PM

One is a pit lab and he's about 40 lbs. The other is a little mutt about 20 lbs. We buy their food in bulk for about $20 and that lasts us for about 2-3 months, and we buy their treats in bulk for about $14? And those last us FOREVER because they get half a treat a day lol. They also get meat sometimes too! But their food isn't a huge factor in our budget :)

I gave up on couponing because it seemed like it was all for processed food - but I'm definitely willing to give it another go! I remember when Extreme Couponers came out, I printed like 50 coupons for band aids and we ended up with like 1000 bandaids for free! That was seven years ago and we STILL have a ton of bandaids hahaha.

This is very helpful, thank you!! I really need to buy those stupid rotisserie chickens from Costco because when I get those, we can eat off them for like a week (for lunches/light snacks, not meals lol). I think snacking is our big problem, especially for me (especially right now at almost 8 months pregnant lol!). All of these things are things we can get for free or cheap!
/r/RedPillWomen13/04/17 01:10 PM

I definitely need to check out a meat market for meat! I imagine they would be less expensive. We eat meat maybe 3 times a week, and I try to buy it when it's on sale. We're lucky that agriculture is a huge thing around here so we can get the good cuts of meat (or even ground beef) and we know where it's coming from!! The sausage idea is so good!! Breakfast meat is the one thing I haven't figured out how to get down so I'm gonna try this!! We usually get a pound of all natural breakfast sausage …

Thank you for the advice everyone! I should have mentioned that where we live has a very low cost of living. When we first moved here, we were spending about $300/mo on groceries, household items, etc. But over the years, we've been able to bump that up, and now that we eat clean, we've obviously had to move it up as well! But tbh, I haven't been keeping our budget as well as I should have because I KNOW we have so much extra and so I'm like, oh yeah we can eat tonight! I just gotta stop doing t…

Thank you for the advice everyone! I'm definitely taking it all to heart. And the "I feel you!" pregnancy stories are seriously cracking me up! We've had a great weekend together so far! I think we've both been so busy that it's led to us feeling distant and that was just adding to the mess in my head haha.
/r/RedPillWomen12/02/17 02:04 AM

Yes, he definitely understands that it's just hormones, but he's still asked me once or twice to knock it off. I just want to feel more in control of my emotions :( But these are all good tips - going to start using them asap! We're having a "just us" weekend this weekend, and going on a mini vacation in a couple of weeks...I think how busy everything has been is contributing to these feelings, so we're looking forward to the alone time. I'm sorry for yours as well. This pregnancy is going as sm…

I do not, but that sounds great! Do you have any good starter info? I haven't read the books yet, but I was going to start with The Submissive Wife - would you recommend that one?
/r/RedPillWomen11/02/17 01:23 AM

Thank you!! Just keeping my mouth shut would be a good start haha. I think being able to realize that I'm being ridiculous would be really good...I need to keep that in mind. Yes, we had a loss at 8 weeks before we dealt with infertility. :( Everything is going perfectly with this pregnancy though, and we can't wait for June to get here!

Oh that's a good idea! I think most suggestions can be pretty universal..or at least can get you thinking if it's applicable to you!
/r/RedPillWomen10/02/17 04:45 PM

I've never heard of that subreddit, but I don't think I could ever post my picture on something like that! Like u/Littlewifey said, I rely on comments from my husband and my own eyes to see what I need improvement on lol. If you feel blind to what could use improvement because you see yourself every day, try taking a picture of yourself! It sometimes helps to see yourself from different angles, etc.

Sorry!! Still learning all the correct terms and everything here!!
/r/RedPillWomen10/02/17 01:59 PM

Hahaha, I loved this article! I'm pretty OCD about our house, but if I'm feeling lazy, I'll usually just put on Hoarders! However, I do know some people who invite people over to their house regardless of how clean (...or completely unsanitary) it is. That drives me insane! I think it shows respect to have a clean house for your guests!

I think the difference is in the non-negotiables. Like, having a stable job could be a requirement for you because you know they can take care of you. Being an engineer doesn't need to be a requirement. Blue eyes don't need to be a requirement. Having some non-negotiables I think will keep you from wasting your time on betas! But, you don't want to have a laundry list of qualities because then you'll overlook some great men just because they don't fit your list. So I would create a list of non-n…

I'm the marketing manager of a medical equipment company, and I'm the editor-in-chief of an editing/publishing company :) I've thought about going back to school to get a degree in personal financial planning, but I'm happy with what I've got going on right now!

DH and I are finally getting back to eating clean!! It's been 3 days and I can already see and feel the difference. This is our menu for the week: M - cheesy baked penne with roasted veggies, side salad T - honey teriyaki chicken w/ cauliflower fried rice W - chicken & black bean tacos (DH's favorite!!) T - left-overs F - turkey stuffed peppers, side salad (I'll probably cut up DH's pepper and saute it til soft, then put it all in a tortilla - he's not huge on big bell peppers) S - baked ziti w/…

Are you overweight or obese? That seems to be the difference between doctor's advice. If you're overweight, you can still gain between 11 - 20 lbs and be okay. If you're obese, you shouldn't really be gaining weight, but like other posters have said - you shouldn't be trying to lose either, it's not healthy for your baby. How much weight have you gained this far into your pregnancy? I'm currently 21 and a half weeks pregnant, so trust me, I totally understand that you are literally STARVING cons…
