It's a shame that this is the top comment as it reflects complete ignorance of the legalities. As flash357 accurately explained in two comments below, unless there is a formal custody arrangement the OP's girlfriend has NOT done anything illegal.

even if it was a guy, i don't think violence is ever a proper solution. so i would say "no, it would not be the right thing to do."

I think it is a very interesting photograph that I took. edit: plus, it's not like /r/pics has any kind of political or ideological position. it's just a random bunch of pics. /r/mensrights, on the other hand, does have a very strong political and ideological position. very different subreddits. that's why i'm posting this. as a subreddit meant to represent men's rights, it should maintain a certain level of decorum.

This is retarded. This is /r/mensrights not "/r/let's complain about women in a sixth-grade stereotypical way."

i think most of the commenters are just not reading your whole post. i have no real suggestions. call the california bar and ask if they have any resources that will help you choose the best lawyer for your case. or, google around and find some review sites or something.

he's asking how to choose the best one, he's not complaining about the price.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
