+1 on that allusion, holy shit.

Translation: Things heal, things can get better, don't jump to conclusions. If in the case that there was a night where he couldn't get it up or perform, even a well intended "what's the matter babe??" could easily upset him. Maybe it's just his methodology to deflate an issue from a big one to a smaller one, even if it comes off as ham-fisted

Forgot where it was said here before, but a man that shaves his head is taking responsibility and is control of that situation, a balding man is not.

You've been given the gift of a 2nd chance. Lots here probably wouldn't be so lucky.

Not sure if anyone caught this from the "Fair Pay Act" that they're proposing at the bottom of the link... The Fair Pay Act offers an additional set of solutions aimed at curbing occupational segregation. By requiring employers to provide equal pay for work of equal value, *whether or not the jobs are the same*, this legislation addresses equal pay for women and men working in female-dominated jobs that are objectively rated equivalent to jobs traditionally dominated by men Wow

Best way I've ever heard this described was asking a plate if she liked to be choked... "Oh hellll yea... unless the guy is a bitch, then get your fucking hands off me."

A shame these women will raise domineer their spawnlings with the sort of bitterness and contempt for men/fathers that created this problem in the first place.

Well, much in the same vein as "I'm not that kind of girl", or "Not into games or drama" weeds out the losers and risk-adverse men, a system that rewards people out for themselves will advertise itself as being altruistic as to weed out those who will truly push the boundaries and succeed, or submit and conform.

This harkens back to the prime concept that TRP is just a toolbox. Utilize what you need, discard what you don't, but gdi figure that shit out for yourself and do it!

I think the bigger take away from the post is about congruence If you're going to be better, actually be better, not just say that you are. The listicle format and step-by-step instructions are just meant for accessibility for the TRPers that don't want to think too hard into this.

This. I call it stacking, and the benefits are twofold: There's a localized abundance you have knowing that, even if the date flakes/goes sour/fails to meet expectations, there is another girl soon to follow. Likewise, you have an excuse to bail, get her hamster spinning, and proceed to the next one. If the date succeeds and you close, flake the next girl, get her hamster going, and set up another date for stacking. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

TL;DR : Ouroboros - in an ironic claptrap of a business start-up, the oldest teenager in the house is being sued for alledged sexual-harassment and misconduct at a "fem-forward" company that should have steered clear of such blatant HR missteps.

I believe this can easily be tied with the recent post regarding the "Cool Girl" syndrome that we're seeing with women approaching the wall or even post-wall. That is, once their looks have begun to diminish, they attempt to pad the numbers by taking on more vapid hobbies, traveling and adding ticks to their checklists so that they are clearly "moar experienced, mature, and worldly." When men begin to Hamster this idea that her coolness will make up for her waning beauty, we get this mythology t…

"Remember, Not needing anyone wasn't her will but it was the only choice she had in her past experiences." Still manages to finish with an air of unaccountability and plausible deniability. Red flags are supposed to be taken off their masts and tied into bows apparently...

netizen539 nailed it with the "objective reality" part, just the hamster at work. I'd say you're erring more on the side of laziness. Now that the curtain is pulled back, every minute you spend with her will just give your own hamster more traction to spin. Too long, and you'll rationalize all the way back to led to those texts in the first place. In the words of the Lord Humongous: "Just walk away..."

"Trust, but verify" Had an ex myself who couldn't decide her way out of a paperback unless she had her friends/sisters to encourage her. Strange what that group-think does to people.

Every dude on this sub would be lying if they said they didn't have a revenge fantasy of some sort (the oneitis that hurt them, the family that ostracized them, the peers that doubted them, etc.) Just from anecdotal experience, no one cares but you. They will have long forgotten you and their actions that led up to your anger (recall the recent post about people remembering the end-state and peaks, not the interim). Whether or not you "get yours" , OP is right... it's irrelevant and exacerbates …

I've done what you've described (walked out on a dinner/date) because I got tired of their shit. Personally, I think it's contextual. Although done similar what OP described, one date got under my skin quick, so when I stormed off, it was clear that I was upset and lost frame. She continued to berate me about it even after the date so it was clear, I lost. On the other hand, handling the sitch like OP using tenets of AA and Amused Mastery seemed far more effective. Yup, coupled with the notion that they have glass jaws, there are only two ways they will spring back from such tragedy: Have someone help them out and re-build their life for them (Capitan Save-a-Hoe, The State, Parents, etc.) Monetize on their tragedy through victimhood-currency (PitCoin (TM)) and use that as their profit motive.

It's about letting go... After getting into a petty argument with a person in line at a grocery store.... then telling my co-workers... then telling my friends... then telling the internet... It finally occurred to me: "That guy has already stopped talking about you, and has forgotten about you... YOU are carry this bruden now. Cut it the fuck out and MOVE ON"

Couldn't agree more with the working two jobs while you can. The opportunity costs are for you to decide, but overall, why not stash some extra income?
