Someone doesn't know what default means. The post is quite literally what happens when you haven't discussed it before hand

They never stated that was a concern. Why are you putting words in their mouth. The question was are women who play hard to get bad people? And I don't think women who play coy quickly learn not to for a variety of societal reasons, including how society treats women who like sex, the expectation that men always want it, that woman should have a lower libido than their partner etc etc. It's just not as simple as your making out.

You keeping on calling it that isn't going to change the actual behavior or its prevalence. Awful trying to shame people by labeling anything you don't like coercive. You do you I guess.

You and they have changed the definition. This is not an opinion, it's a fact. It doesn't change because they are doctors. They don't even have the argument from authority on their side, because they are not authorities on non-health matters like word definitions. You just don’t like that many men who you consider good have done bad things. The acts are the same no matter what you call them. I wouldn't consider normal sexual behavior bad if you suddenly started calling it coercive. And I wouldn'…

Hahaha lol. Now you're talking about a known theory and pretending it is the opposite. I see now you're just trying to change the definition of words to mean what you want them to mean rather than what they do. To fit more behavior into a category everyone knows is wrong. The problem with that is it doesn't make the new behavior wrong, it just lessens the impact of the word and excuses the genuinely terrible behavior by equating the two.

Yes it is. It's the definition of the word. Sending me an article from someone just saying differently doesn't make it fact. The definitions in that article blur the lines between actual coercion and other non coercive forms of persuasion and negotiation. Which I find dangerous and unconstructive.

Then don't engage. That's up to you. But you did. And it is to do with what you're arguing anyway. It's about the drivers of the behavior you don't like. When some women expect boundaries to be pushed, and some don't, you get learned behavior that it is right to push boundaries. Personally I err on the side of caution, but that's not going to be the lesson every guy learns.

Coercion has a meaning. And it's not just trying to convince someone to do what you want. It has to involve threats, intimidation, or physical force to do something against their will. I haven't seen anyone talk about anything that would rise to that level in this thread. Coerce is not a synonym for convince, whine or beg.

You are not arguing in good faith up and down this post. And when pushed on it you just say it's not your original post said. Ok. But it's possible to have branching conversations

Ok cool. Now answer the question.

Ok so you're not one of the people they're talking about. This doesn't answer the question though .

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
