5	Venting:I am a single father who is treated like a pedophile. I have to say that since I started reading /r/MensRights, my perspective about men with children has completely changed. I still keep an eye out for weirdness like a man being very aggressive or pushy with a child (beyond a normal temper tantrum), but I don't think I would ever do any of the things you mentioned. 17	Boy-hating is in I'm not sure that was what the writer of the Elle article necessarily meant, but I do agree that it came out that way. My feeling was that upon discovering the gender of the baby it made it that much more real. There's nothing wrong with men. Having abdominal surgery is far more invasive and dangerous than having, as genichirou points out, "nuts clipped." They're on the outside of your body. Secondly, having your tubes tied or having a hysterectomy messes with a woman's hormones, whereas you shooting blanks isn't. Thirdly, a vasectomy is REVERSIBLE! A hysterectomy is not.
