I think that defining rape to include coercion and explaining what sexual assault can be falls under teaching people how not to rape. Granted, it's important for everyone to be taught that.

Depends on the woman and the guy, really. Some are put off by motives that are, or seem, shallower than others. Being embarrassed by someone is a motive. Maybe the woman thought that the man singing was embarrassing in public and the fact that he filmed and posted it made her think he doesn't mind embarrassing himself in public and she's more into keeping apparences.
