Men are a great number of the leaders and leadership positions yes, but those positions require an insane amount of responsibility and sacrifice. one of the key trends of the past 20 years has been our leadership fucking up endlessly and going completely unpunished because people are either complacent or beaten down and unable to hold them accountable. prime example would be the 2008 financial crisis, or the iraq war before that

iirc the feminist complaint is not a straightforward wage gap but that women are often encouraged to go into different (lower paying) jobs from men, and in jobs where men and women work together women tend to get passed over for promotions in favor of men- the latter may have something to do expectations of childcare as well.

I agree calling you an egg because you want to look more androgynous is a bit much. but historically LGBT is a coalition for mutual support and defense and gender nonconforming/crossdressing people definitely fall into it. since you know the normies will care how you "identify", it's more about disgust at a "man" wearing women's clothes. so to them crossdresser trans woman same difference, and if you're both shunned by society it makes sense to stick together.

a lot of the time these bad things express themselves as class based oppression, such as getting passed over for promotion which keeps you poor and denying you good things. or say, a lack of housing keeping women in abusive relationships even when they would like to leave because it's better than being homeless.

this ain't it chief. there's plenty of things to hate warren for but she's not like a dedicated misandrist or whatever, just a climber willing to use whatever tool is convenient. her social media supporters on the other hand, hoo boy

I like the idea! but I think it's good to also put all the high quality articles and sources you've already compiled into a wiki page, and then have a sidebar or stickied post with a link to the wiki page. keeping all the high quality stuff on the wiki lets it be more organized and visible for new people

I'd bet they were forced to accept new leadership, and new leadership was some awful management-consulting ghouls that only cared about money, and so went for the "tried and true" technique of market segmentation. God I hate capitalism

there's no real way to test this of course but surveys have shown that a significant proportion of people wouldn't mind having alternative physiology- they just don't have a strong preference either way

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
