you really have negative view on life, Ofc you see mostly negative things on the internet because someone being a decent human being isn't going to be shared on the internet thus it is left unnoticed.

i would argue they understood it quite well, They just didn't care since they didn't expect that this case would go public.

True. but medics/police/firefighters are doing their job and often risking their lives for citizens of their country while army does that a lot less for its citizens than other reasons, at least nowadays. Btw this is my opinion, we all have our own, so its fine if you disagree with me.

i don't think he used it as an excuse for their actions, In my understanding, he meant that they are doing their job and getting paid for it so why would they have to be praised as heroes while there are real heroes within a country who deserve being called heroes more than them.

I might be wrong since most of my knowledge on this topic comes from reddit, but wasn't she credited for being a team leader and not for being a solo contributor to this.

Here are few comments From this r/unpopularopinion subreddit thread which clarifies some of the things. Comment by u/jlwob : Just a heads up - she is not claiming sole credit in any sense. Watch her Ted talk. Most of it is about how the team worked together and what her contribution to the project was. TED talk Comment by u/CoffeeClark : "Measuring programming progress by lines of code is like measuring aircraft building progress by weight." Bill Gates Comment by u/wall_of_swine : A quick search…

Oh "I can't be (insert bad thing), because (insert bad thing) has been done to me or my (insert group)" argument, flawless logic. So what now I can't become robber because I've been robbed a few times before? nice logic.

True but i don't believe the advice was to blindly and 100% ignore all issues, it just stated ignore them for your happiness and when you reach the point where ignoring them makes you unhappy or you judge that bring the issue up is a better solution then go for it. Following any advice blindly and literally rarely goes well

They key word is "little" here, meaning they don't affect you much so why bother ruining the mood or even relationship over it, but i agree with u/wsing1974 both partners have to do it or it very likely might not work

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
