You're right, she had not been good to me for some time. Between the rejection, indifference, stone walling, denial and gas lighting. At a minimum, she was trying to get me to leave so she wouldn't have to. It's entirely possible there was a solid reason for it. She certainly lost all respect for me before she moved out, leaves one to wonder if she found respect for something or someone else instead...

I'll wait as long as I need to find the right woman. That being said, if I see a good deal, I'm also not passing it up because "life is so much better without a wife". Maybe she comes along, maybe not, but being single is far better than being with the wrong woman. But for me, being with the right woman is far better than being single. I'm asking you how you know! How do you know, I'm interested to hear your story...if only to educate myself on how to better handle my situation. I agree, there is something I'm not aware of. This something she's hiding is also something I couldn't have perfectly protected myself from nor anticipated without having zero trust for her.
