7	At a loss Geez man, you have my sympathy. Sounds really fucking rough. My two cents: pain is an opportunity for growth. The bigger the pain, the bigger the opportunity. The only way to move forward is to grow in a way that makes you bigger than the pain. 4	Divorce & Death - Two-fold Grief You know why you feel numb? Because you're holding it all in. You're holding it all in because you've been taught to think that you should be angry with her, that your anger is the only thing holding up your dignity. You actually feel really, really sad because you've lost someone that you loved, your wife, and she lost her life, in an incredibly tragic way.
