FGM is banned, and occasionally they try and ban it even more, yet circumcision hasn't even entered the 'maybe it's bad' stage in the zeitgeist. Everyone in that thread thinks it's great. Of course the solution to all this is to fight institutional sexism against fathers, including balancing family and divorce courts, stopping the demonisation of fathers (and men in general) in the media and equalize the laws for crimes against children (female pedophiles have virtual immunity).
