2	Discrimination against women in video games? I think the real issue isn't "discrimination against women in video games", but something a bit more complicated. In most games, you only have time to get a few snapshots of a person's personality, so most characters are simplified. "Being female" is a defining characteristic, so female characters tend to be slightly less developed. Ditto for people of a race other than what's common in the world of the game. 3	Uncircumcised in America - An interesting, short read about moms choosing for their sons It's not that long of a recovery period. I had a friend who was circumcised at around age 18 (he was having painful adhesion issues) and as I recall he was only out of commission in that regard for a day or two.
