If he’s only kind/respectful to women who he’s attracted to and treats unattractive/older/fat women like they’re invisible or not even worth acknowledging.

In college, I used to work at a sports bar where all the servers were young women. We used to have a guy call the restaurant and say he was disabled and inquire if we would help “change him” all while heavy breathing on the other end of the phone. These sick fucks are everywhere.

I read the comments and OP clarified that he picks his nose and wipes the boogers on the bed. Not only in his bed, but in HER bed too! 🤮

Sometimes during pregnancy, the baby can pull the calcium from your body. This can cause your teeth to get extremely weak and break/fall out. There have been cases of women needing full sets of dentures after pregnancy. It’s rare, I think, but there have been documented cases.

This is great advice. I also recommend changing any account/internet passwords, even if you think your ex doesn’t know them. I had an ex hack into one of my accounts because he secretly watched/memorized me typing in my password.

This cartoon/art series (the proper word is escaping me here lol) is meant to tell the story from a LVM’s perspective. Presumably he wants a woman who earns less than he does to protect his fragile ego.

Regrettably, I slept with my fair share of older men (40s-60s) when I was in college. I had some severe mental health issues and low self esteem, obviously. And I can confirm everything in this thread. Older men are just as sucky in bed as any other group of men. I’d argue that older men are actually WORSE in bed. Men generally don’t take good care of themselves so by time they’re in their 40s, they have no stamina or energy. Plus, they’re stuck in their ways and unreceptive to feedback from the…

Have you heard of Meet Up? It’s a website and app where you can find groups of people in your area with similar interests. Your experience will depend on where you live, but in my city there are lots of outdoors hiking/walking groups (good option for COVID safety!) that meet weekly for social walks. There are also several women-only groups in my area, board game groups, book clubs, foreign language groups, just about everything you can think of. I find that meeting a group of people and doing an…

I was trying to string the capitalized letters together to form some type of hidden word or something. I thought it might be a joke or something! But turns out I was giving the idiot too much credit 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you! I agree, it really was an ideal way to meet. I had done OLD in the past and I hated it. Getting to know each other in a friendly manner over time before dating was much more my style!

A “walk date” is something people already in established relationships do. It’s not really a date, either. It’s just life! Same with “hanging out and watching a movie.” That’s something my fiancé and I do on weeknights to unwind after a busy day. While we very much enjoy that time together, it’s not a date. It’s life. I’m not sure if men are suggesting these types of dates a) out of pure laziness and stinginess or b) because they want to rush into the “relationship feeling” and are too socially …

I met him at work! I waited tables to put myself through college and he was a regular at my restaurant. We got to know each other over a period of months just through friendly conversation while I was working (I worked at a very laid back restaurant and management encouraged us to chit chat with our tables and get to know our guests). He didn’t ask me out while I was working since he understood the whole “the girl who is working/serving you is obligated to be nice to you” thing. He didn’t want t…

I’m financially independent/stable and in graduate school (a pre-professional program with an almost guarantee of a job after graduation). I don’t see a problem with expecting the same from my partner. I wouldn’t date someone who was broke or had no direction in life! That doesn’t make me a gold digger. That’s just called standards!

Unless a man has children with his ex, there’s no reason he should be in contact with her if he’s in a new relationship. The only acceptable reason would be to have a good coparenting relationship. I’m not sure why that’s such a controversial opinion these days lol

It’s just another example of men’s huge egos. They think everything women do is for them. Women wear makeup because it makes us feel confident, or because it’s fun, or it’s a way to express individuality and creativity. But men always have to butt in with their opinions. “WeLl aCtUaLlY I pRefEr wOmEn WiTh nO MaKeUp!!” No one asked dude. /end rant

I’m engaged now, but when I was dating (people I met IRL and OLD), I always searched their name through the state arrest records. It’s free on most (if not all) states’ official website. One guy, who otherwise seemed like he had his shit together (impressive degree, good job, car, apartment) had like 3-4 DUIs! Another had arrests for theft and contempt of court. Never give anyone the benefit of the doubt, ladies. It’s who you least expect. Throughly screen everyone.

Check out your state’s official website too! In most states (if not all), you can access public arrest records for free. This has saved me more than once, with the men I least suspected. All you need is a name you can pull up the mugshot and charges.

Part of his criminal record, which he explains on the show, is violating a restraining order an ex girlfriend had against him! So you may be exactly right about that

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
