I am saying that there are hints about people’s ideas and opinions on daily conversations that let you know their character. I have met all sorts of women from all ages in my life, and I have never heard anyone even mention the slightest interest in men being isolated. And men are one of the most recurrent topics in any conversation.

How do you know who indulges if you don’t discuss? There certainly has to be some sort of communication to find if an understanding is mutual.

3 days ago a 70.000 group chat for discussing how to rape women was discovered by the German police. The Gisele Pelicot case has been on the news for months now. Sexual assault is actually one of those things you can find empirical evidence that men discuss in their private circles, so maybe it’s not a matter of “shittiness”.

This is my exact thought. I read that and I was so confused for a second, as most of the time the messages I hear from women in my environment is that men should have the same relationships women have with each other. Sharing, supporting, caring… you know, being close and intimate. I’ve never heard anyone wanting men not to share with each other?

Bingo! Although the point is more like “if you don’t consider my rights to body autonomy a priority, I won’t consider your sexual gratification one either.” It’s not an exchange, it’s a negotiation.

I like this reasoning. Just because it’s an habit doesn’t mean it’s a necessity.

It’s not often that I come across a post here that makes me want to unsubscribe, yet here we are. Dear lord, this is the worst take I’ve seen in ages.

This is going to sound incredibly stupid but…: make a survey and ask the girls to rate the date after they have said no to the second one. Tell them you can’t see the results until the end of the year, where you reflect on what things you’d like to change, and that it’s anonymous. A friend of mine did this in university and it’s ridiculous how easy people will open up if they believe people won’t know their identity.

Women like other types of guys as well. Jack Black is insanely popular with women, Michael Cera, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rami Malek, Eddie Redmayne…

They are attractive but they don’t exactly fit on what he said all women like. My point is women have very wide tastes of what they like on guys. And Michael Cera is a yes!

Okay, so if you don’t want high status men as an example (which is basically every men that is famous or known), then I should give examples of my real life friends, which are anonymous? My friend A, a solid 8.5 with a PhD likes nerdy guys who are introverted and sweet, her current boyfriend is exactly that. My friend C, a solid 8, is currently going out with a chubby guy. And I currently have a crush on a guy shorter than my at my job because he is funny and we get along very well. Does this se…

They don’t like them bc of the money they like them because they are hot???? There are people that are much richer than those two, yet they are thirsting over the skinny boys?? And there are so many K-pop groups that are totally broke yet girls love them. I think you are completely misreading the situation

This is not true lol. Women can prefer a taller men than them in general, that I can agree, but all of the other traits are massively subjective. There are so many men that don’t fit that aesthetic that women get obsessed with; Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet, the whole k-pop genre, etc. Furthermore, all of my friends have such an incredibly diverse range of tastes that most of our conversations fall on the personality side, rather than the physical appearance.

Indeed, but a kids’ hypothetical right to have a father is not more important than the right to body autonomy.

Then you refer to power as an interpersonal skill rather than a tangible asset?

I personally would say I like confident men. Men who know what they are doing, what they want, and kind of transmit the security of their actions. People with authority tend to have it because they have been observed to be good at it, so I would say that could be a correlation. The money and influence doesn’t attract me that much, really.

I would also add that most of us have already had a traumatic experience with men; either being followed, sexual assault, violence or something of the sort. And once you experience on of these, the possibility of it happening again is always at the back of your mind.

I’ll never understand when people think that body count actually relates to the value of a person in any way. You can always speculate, but how is it really? It’s just sex. People have a million reasons to practice sex nowadays, I don’t understand why people, specially in EEUU, want to make it such a big deal.

This is the best response I’ve found so far. Also, paying l child support is expected for any parent figure, so mothers who don’t have custody of their children still have to pay (normally) child support to the father who has it.

Honestly, I don’t think so. Those thoughts and behaviours would reflect in our daily life, and I wouldn’t be able to stand so much clashing.

As a girl, there’s a chance that she is an over thinker; I have many friends that have developed so many different issues regarding dating because guys can be hardly unpredictable sometimes, and it’s difficult to tell if some of them really are in interested in you before they show their true colours. She may be testing you, or she may also be avoiding things that make her anxious, as it could be feeling like she is talking too much about herself, or opening too much to you. Keeping the conversa…

I swear I don’t fucking understand the justice system. How can someone that stole a good can go to jail longer that someone that literally abused and traumatised children, permanently damaging the life of another human being???

I always thought my environment was the exception, because everyone was always talking about how men payed everything for their girlfriends and blah blah blah, but I'm starting to see is way more common than I thought. Most of the girls I know are working and/or studying, while their boyfriends are in a personal limbo behaving as 16 years old, not working nor studying nor nothing. It's excruciating seeing someone you love becoming the second mother of a fully grown adult.

Sizes of breasts vary, and many of them start growing from under the armpit, under your arms (I’m a 90F so I know what I’m talking about). It can be very complying to the heat accumulation in the bra. I fail to understand why is the rotation of the legs determinant when we are talking about a sitting position where your legs don’t move at all. It helps to relieve weight because by doing so you are also changing the back position to one that can rely some of the weight that accumulated and that r…

your eggs are only “crushed” between your legs when you close them totally. they are literally on when you wear underwear and sit properly, not widely open, but sitting with a normal distance between your legs.

There are many types of breasts, among them the big ones that create literal sweat in the bra. Our armpits accumulate heat and they are right next to our breasts, giving them even more heat. They are heavy too, and bras don’t help neither; they are incredibly uncomfortable and hot in summer. They create back pain in ways you couldn’t imagine, and stretching and placing your arms widely could help greatly to relieve it. Not trying to make your point about balls less valid, but I’m trying to imply…

By that logic, women should have the tendency to put their arms wide due to the tits having the same tendencies as testicles. They accumulate heat, become sweaty and create back pain constantly so opening our arms seems like a way to relieve some of those effects. edit: wow people took this quite badly
