My dad was deployed last year when he was still married. My stepmom really wanted a cat but my dad pushed back because they could barely handle the dog they already had. This is why I’m scared for my dad’s divorce. Logically, he has the upper hand. He’s got a more expensive lawyer, cleaner financial records, and more evidence. My stepmom pulled the rape card on him and now he’s a registered sex offender until he proves his innocence. Who knows, maybe it’ll go his way because the initial court date was two weeks ago but the judge rescheduled in the middle of the hearing because my stepmom and her lawyer brought nothing with them. I’m not kidding, even the lawyer …
