What Ive come to learn is that the blame must be cast on YOURSELF. Similar to you, I just got out of a marriage with a BPD chick; 4 year relationship.... 1 year marriage. One year marriage. I paid for everything including house car and food through the previous 4 years of our relationship. Damage was around $1500 which included $1000 to pay for “depreciation” on the times I drove her car for work. She drove the other new Lexus I paid for in the meantime. Anyways, I kept everything. House and car were in my name only; no kids. Very clean

She filed. No unreasonable demands; she did tell me to not do anything. She proceeded to pull of her deposits since June out of joint account. Basically, she gets to save everything while I pay all expenses. Unfair, but will be SO happy if that is all she wants

She has a school loan; I have retirement accounts. We've been married for ONE year. ​ She took my "half" of the lawyer fees out of my ("our) account on her own. Basically stole it. Not sure how I have recourse. She has already pulled every cent she deposited into our joint account.
