2	Honest question about a dating double standard I keep noticing Hey so men just wanting sex and women just wanting money is both sexes being selfish. Women are just as horny as men, we just pay a higher cost for sexual activity (potential kidnap, death, breach of consent, pregnancy, etc) so it's harder to get with us. So the idea that men should just be understood and accepted for just wanting sex isn't equivalent to women wanting a man for his money - both are wrong but it's comparing apples to oranges. 1	Active in dating, getting dates and occasional hookups… but nothing sticks. What am I doing wrong? If you've only had LTRs with women who you hooked up with in the first date, it's because you're not good company or not a good man. It means you've essentially manipulated them into being emotionally tied to you through sex. You participate/create a system where you have power over them in a way that you shouldn't yet - men or women who try to create power imbalances like that are not LTR material.
