I read something interesting about us finding less value in fields that are generally better suited for traits that women excel in. I learned this in… a gender studies class! (Forced to take it for gen-Ed). I thought it was a really interesting point and it was very compelling. It also pointed out that male traits are generally seen as more valuable in a business scene. I mean, I still think there is an underlying preference towards men in certain fields as well as an undervaluing of traditionally female dominated work. Depends on your major. Some majors are highly competitive and GPA definitely matters. It certainly matters if you are attempting to get into higher school. Actually, elective grades are usually worth about the same as any other class unless they don’t meet a lot. All my electives besides gym were 3-4 semester hours, same as my other classes. Probably because the majority of teachers are women. I've always preformed better with make teachers. But I think that's because when a guy is a teacher, he is doing it because he really cares about teaching. Where a lot of girls simply teach to teach. Because nobody respond to a text from a random number with anything other than "who is this". Even with a message like this.
