Reading your post, may have answered my own question. Whore green flag: “open and kinky with the man she loves”. Thanks so much for the insight again!

Thank you so much for this beautiful insight. I will diligently read your other post right after this. I’m currently in therapy addressing this issue and other issues from my childhood, all in the effort to be a more self-assured person. A follow up question I’d pose is the following- what about when it comes to the idea of “non-vanilla sex”. There are a lot of sexual preferences I suppressed until now because they made me feel ashamed of myself. But since I’ve been to therapy, I’m realizing tha…

update Hey! We're still seeing each other, and things are more or less the same. We've agreed that neither of us are seeing anyone else at this point, and we've expressed that we're committed to seeing where this goes. :)

My friend and I were discussing this last night. I told her if she ever learns something from my past, DO NOT DATE PORN WATCHERS. They're sick in the head and you CANNOT change them with your looks, good sex, or committment. My ex had a major porn addiction, and one day said friend and I were going to lunch with my ex (then boyfriend), and his phone connected to the cars Bluetooth and the speakers started blasting porn. I was horrified and embarrassed in front of my friend. From that point on, t…

Already operating that way and I'm no where near where I want to be physically (but working on it). I've been single a year and haven't even touched another man (though not without scrotes trying). 99.999999999999% of men will never get it from me.

This sounds oh so familiar. I met a guy on Hinge, and we met and I told him we're better off as friends. He continuously dates girls who put out on the first date, and always has me on a weird pedestal and questions why he "can't find someone rare like me". I used to think it was harmless, but I know realize he used me to justify his bad playboy behavior with these women by comparing them to me, and deemed them as "bad, easy sex opportunities". He used me to justify using these women for sex by …

I was suffering with panic attacks a couple of years ago when I was in my decade long relationship with a NVM. I would be having a panic attack on the couch and he'd be walking around me just doing his usual routine, then look at me and say "You good? You realllly need to get some help. I can't help you". Yes, I needed help, and yes, he couldn't have stopped my panic attacks. But I REFUSE to let my partner recklessly disregard me like that ever again.

Just wanted to provide some input on this. My weight has fluctuated throughout the years, and I'm getting to the smallest I've been, currently. However, I would describe myself as the "hourglass big" described by a user down below. Meaning, no matter my size, I have big boobs, hips and ass with a smaller waist. I tend to attract many different types of men, and usually don't get "big girl fetishists". I have two friends. One is taller and rail thin, think a model body. No boobs or ass to speak o…

My weight has fluctuated throughout the years, and I'm getting to the smallest I've been, currently. However, I would describe myself as the "hourglass big" you described. I do tend to get diverse attention from men, however, the smaller I get (my boobs and ass don't go away), the more attention I tend to get. However, regardless of my relative size, I believe just my body type alone is fetishized horribly, and men love saying whatever they want to me. Sometimes I wish I could chop off my ass an…

"I've been called frigid, stone cold, shy, boring, not sexually adventurous, blah blah blah. I know what I am, and those words fall off me like water." It makes me so happy to hear that other women in this sub have been called these things. I've been called "shy, serious, a bitch," etc for establishing my boundaries and it used to get under my skin. Now I've spent some time on this sub and working on my self worth, it's actually a compliment to be called these things. The deep, seductive, sensua…

Thanks babe. You've definitely inspired me to stay off online dating, at least for a long while. I'd like to see what my possibilities are in person, as I've dealt with my fair share of trash guys online too.

Right, her logic is also if I date this guy (who’s very attractive), he’ll for sure cheat because other women want him so I should “consider uglier guys”. Pretty offensive.. I know she’s not calling me ugly, but it sure feels like it with comments like that

No joke- reading that made me put my sandwich down because I felt like I was going to throw up.

Agreed. I started talking to a guy who my pickme acquaintance thought I was talking to because of his career. She told me "money isn't everything, you know". It may not be everything, but it's a big piece of the puzzle. To me, it's just as important to date a financially stable man as it is to be attracted to him and have things in common. By the way, she has 4 kids between 2 baby daddies and is broke. Her man is also a cheater pornsicko. Sounds mean but it's just a fact.

Agreed. I don't think WAP or anything Megan Thee Stallion or Cardi B puts out is empowering at all. Just catering to the misogyny and porn culture.

Agreed, they'd fuck anything they can. Trust me on the love thing, I'm right there with you. I use that logic because I used to see the lack of decent men coming into my life as a reason to believe I was "less than", and it's just not true. Good men are 1 in a million, and all the others are just sex-crazed porn monsters who want to belittle you into pleasing their depraved pp's. By the way, when you say "if the sex isn't perfect", I've thought about that a lot too. What if I meet a man who's ex…

Babe, don't worry about it. Men will literally sleep with almost any woman walking this earth. As the saying goes "women sleep with who they want, men sleep with who they can". I went though a similar thing when I became single last year. Every guy I'd talk to would try to sleep with me or bring up sexual topics before meeting. It's nothing to do with you. You're special, you are wonderful outside of your sex appeal. It's them, trust me. Most men can't recognize a real woman standing in front of…

Boundary pushing pig. They're common on Hinge. One guy called me boring and serious because I wouldn't indulge him in my deepest sexual fantasy before ever meeting him. So pathetic, thank god you got the red flag before moving forward. Saves time!

Literally what I always say. Do men understand that we can literally replace them in 2 hours if we want to? One of the only upper hands women have on men is our ability to have a line of men waiting for us to give them the chance. I don't know who told him he's special for being a broke, unattractive white man, but he's not in any way.

What a sick fuck! No woman should have to feel unsafe in her own home. I'm so sorry babe <3 Agree on the setting up cameras, and at least filing a report with the police. I went through something similar recently, where I came home to some creep trying to peep through my window. I live on the ground floor. As annoying as it sounds, I asked my really nice male neighbor upstairs for his number so he can swing his bat around if it happens again. Having tasers and pepper spray helps too. Again, sorr…

I went through this for years. It's emotional abuse, whether they "mean to" or not. This vicious cycle landed me in therapy and questioning the legitimacy of my needs and desires to be treated with basic human decency. Typically, a man will show signs of this abuse early on, and if you do pick up on it, RUN, don't walk.

My logical brain would tell me that if they see a woman they'd want to get to know, they wouldn't do anything to mess it up. But then I realize most men don't have logical brains. They think with their groins!

Now I know not to give out my number until we've met in person and I trust them to a decent level. Seems like he kept a good face for a week on the app until he could get my number and start sexually harassing me.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/21 07:50 PM

It baffles me too! I used to think it was my fault, and it was the way I was presenting myself, or "my assets make them behave badly". But fuck that noise! A real man sees a woman of dignity and value, and steps up and would never dream of pushing her boundaries. It's nothing to do with us, and everything to do with them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/21 07:42 PM

Yeah, I'm very familiar with men pushing my boundaries, so it was disappointing but not a surprise. I really thought staying on the app for a week would filter out the assholes, but I guess not. I appreciate your advice. You have no idea. When I was dealing with this, all I could think about is telling you guys and getting advice. I need to just block and delete going forward. <3

I've dipped my toes into online dating a few times since my breakup, for about a day or two at a time. When I tell you this has happened with almost every.single.fucking.man on these apps, I'm not kidding. My friend told me it's because I'm "too attractive" and they can't control themselves. We love deeply-engrained rapey misogyny right?! Let's not hold men accountable for controlling their own groins and blame it on women possessing womanly qualities that were given to us out of our control. I'…

Thanks! You're so right, if I'd "ignored" his sex comments, he would have kept pushing and/or be confrontational about me ignoring them. I was talking to my friend about it, and I said "if we met at a grocery store, would he be asking about my sexual tendencies there?" No, he's doing it because he can't look me in the eye so he feels empowered to disrespect me. I think that's where the major flaw lies in online dating. I'm seriously thinking about never coming back to online dating. Staying sing…

As I've mentioned in other posts, 2020 was a year of major transformation in my life. I lost my awful job in March due to COVID (thank god) , and also got out of a decade long, emotionally abusive relationship. I see 2020 as my year of survival, facing and embracing my new reality. Got a new job (that I love), and moved into my first apartment alone. As said by JK Rowling, "Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life." Now I've not only survived, but learned how to thrive,…

Thank you for sharing that article. An absent father, a decade-long toxic relationship with a narc that I just got out of earlier this year, and the pick me behavior that I engaged in post-breakup. Thanks for your thoughtful comment. Before him, I used to be an avid writer, and I loved to read. I'm slowly getting back into that :) Your "cool girl" analogy is so true. Whenever I used to try to discuss how I was feeling about something with my ex, he'd do his signature move..sigh loudly, put his head in his hands and say "really?! This was 100% me in a 9 year relationship. A wife-girlfriend...worst part, I never received any of the things I needed out of the relationship like basic affection, care, someone that understood me (he admitted to all of this when we broke up). My point is, scrotes are gonna scrote, but treating any man like you're his wife will make him too comfortable too quickly.
