but not capitalizing things is fun :)

All of the oppressive systems I listed are real and interconnected and would take more time to explain than I deem it worth spending on a random stranger online, people write entire academic essays about this (which are readily at your disposal thanks to the internet) and I don’t have it in me to do that for you right now, sorry, so instead I will simply reiterate that you are opposing a straw-man of my argument, as I have not once said that it is a problem for people to have preferences that fa…

Did you read my comment(s)? I’m not talking about dating preferences, I explicitly said my problem is with unsolicited body-shaming; you can choose not to date fat people without going out of your way to tell fat people, unprompted, how undateable they are. Also feminists and incels are very different (speaking as an incel-turned-feminist) but neither groups/ideologies are monoliths and people who identify as either are all complicated and inconsistent and fallible and therefore capable of havin…

Uh, idk, maybe for the sake of avoiding hypocrisy? For what it’s worth I’m aware of the trash behavior you’re talking about and call it out just as much when I see it, in fact I’d say I’m more harsh towards the men who say this stuff than I’m being towards you, but like still, as an AMAB person (but not a man) who’s been sexually assaulted by a group of men who targeted me explicitly because of my height and how they viewed this as representative of my failure to be a proper man, a sentiment man…

I mean yeah, sure, a lot of women are like this, are you trying to claim men are actually uniquely more virtuous in this regard? Dudes don’t prioritize “hotter” women while taking advantage of less conventionally attractive women?

You really could say “conventionally unattractive” instead of “ugly”. Just saying you claim “the red pill is a delusion” but you’re literally reinforcing the beauty standards that go along with it by agreeing that short, bald, fat, etc men are “ugly”. I’m not even disagreeing with you that a lot conventionally unattractive guys are just as bad if not worse than conventionally attractive ones but just saying you could make that point without body-shaming 🤷🏼

I’m not the one complaining about something as innocuous as there being “too many” fat women on dating apps 😭

LMAO anecdotal evidence is literally all I need when it comes to this conversation, any amount of time spent collecting empirical data on people’s dating preferences is time wasted. I’m also not going to read your sources because I straight up don’t believe you’re arguing in good faith, no person with any decency actually bothers spending their time trying to prove to other people why fat people are undateable, like damn dude no wonder you’re so unfulfilled with the dating scene if you’re the ty…

I actually wasn’t making any claims about what skills fat people “necessarily” do or don’t possess on the whole as a group, but I certainly know fat individuals both in my personal life as well as celebrities who are very actively sought after romantically/sexually and considered by many people to be very physically attractive, indeed often times more attractive than skinny people depending on who you ask, not to mention that these people are also indeed plenty successful in all other areas of l…

Actually a lot of fat people have strong dating skills that manifest in healthy relationships, so i don’t know maybe leave your fatphobic bodyshaming out of the equation when discussing behavioral problems?

Lmao dude you’ve almost got some decent points here about alienation under capitalism but what the actual fuck does any of that have to do with the people you find to be superficially unattractive? Pretty sure the problem is that we are all made to feel isolated and insecure while being encouraged to project a sense of emotionally detached hyper-competitiveness that results in people viewing each other more as objects of desire than individual beings with their own emotional/intellectual agency …

Idk y’all all the feminists I know irl agree that Amber Heard sucks, I’ve only seen a handful of strays on twitter saying otherwise.

I mean it’s worth noting this is not a hard and fast rule that applies to every aspect of society, women still suffer the brunt of abuse that comes with sex work and are in general more likely to be assaulted/abused when not factoring in prison, women are disproportionately more likely to become sex slaves as well as to be forced into arranged marriages and have historically had fewer economic and political rights. Not saying the point about male disposability isn’t legit, but let’s not paint th…

Uh so this is a good take but it kind of defeats the purpose of whatever positive message you’re trying to spread when you use Drake, a child groomer, as the image to go along with it.

Lmao you’re a dumbass if you think women don’t do the things listed on top and that there aren’t PLENTY of male hoes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
