Title IX was about forcing the patriarchy to give women MORE equality since they've had less equality for so long. /s

I can say that at least in the air force, when you pull the regulation that guides the PT programs, it is explicitly stated that these programs are to lower health care costs from preventable illness not produce combat readiness

To play devil's advocate sort of, I was stating that instead of a marriage certificate there would be a sort of civil union in which however many people is deemed and of any combination of people can then screw/manipulate them however they want. And any chance you have a link for the second half of you comment?

That was kinda the point, but I am awful at explaining a viewpoint. If the gov't deems that some sort of civil union is necessary then it can be established from a purely objective view then no one can use their religious views as an excuse to force it on other people. Thank you for adding a little spice to the idea and clarifying it further

Ok, fair and valid question, I hadn't got that far but yes is there really any merit to unions being afforded tax/legal props for filling out a marriage certificate? Thoughts from anyone else?

From a military service member, I thank you for acknowledging the human aspect of the 'Jihadist', they are people too that have been raised under a strict one sided controlled flow of information. Being around the people of the middle east, sure they have a more conservative culture but they are still people and the overall loss of life on both sides to miserable to think about. So i guess all I have to say is thank you for thinking about all the people and families involved.

When they teach the required Sexual Assualt Prevention/Awareness Courses, they spend a solid 60 minutes defining a competent participant (abbreviated of course) as: Within full mental facilities (including handicaps, intoxication, impaired), willing (not coerced by rank, reprisal, or other favors), above the age of consent (18, to my employer), i still feel like im missing one but you get the general idea

a thourough explanation indeed, ups, another question if you wouldnt mind: What would you then deem sex under a false pretense of in place birth control (vasectomy/the pill) rape as well since the decieved person is consenting to sex with birth control in place ?

I wonder how many parents would circumsize their children if they had to perform the procedure themselves

kinda like the last double standard article like this where the judge said lets send a 'strong message' that this is unacceptable! , 18 months jail time w/ early probabtion option, the problem is that judges who want to change things will become pariah when they deal equal punishment regardless of gender b/c it doesnt follow the precedent that the system is so strongly enrooted in. Not to make excuses but there will have to some strong/strategic moves made to turn around the trend, and they have…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
