Don't know why you've got some downvotes here, you make some pretty good points. I don't get what others mean by having their shit "used against us" I'm 26M and have never related to this. I have a few friends that are women, who have been there for me just as much as my bros and if this life has taught me anything it's that you need to pick your friends and who you surround yourself with wisely. It wouldn't shock me if the notion of "men are tough, men never cry" that other men (Like our dads) …

Another interesting add-on to this that I don't see many people noticing: could this be relating to traumas surrounding abandonment, that the father leaving might have inflicted? I was only 11 when my dad walked out on us, I thought it was my fault for years and became a really angry dickhead over it. Along with watching him adopt a new family and basically replacing me. How ironic I've never felt good enough.

I worked with someone like this, unless you've been on the receiving end of it you have no idea how mentally draining it is. I eventually stopped engaging with that person altogether, having to date someone like that though would be a special kind of hell.

He makes some valid points, but shortly after pointing out the huge companies are at fault for hiring women who are unqualified, OP then redirects the anger and frustration at women instead of these companies promoting diversity. Being mad at/blaming women won't change anything, just creates more unnecessary hate.

I agree with this, I agree with OP in the sense that big corporations pushing women into fields they aren't drawn to does damage the overall team dynamic. But how exactly are these individual women to blame? They're a victim of the systems that have convinced them they want to be engineers, only for them to inevitably experience imposter syndrome when the going gets tough. Redirecting the frustration towards women is stupid, it doesn't address the bigger picture. It's these huge companies trying…

Yes because a woman who hates men would come into the men's rights sub reddit trying to raise awareness of things solely affecting men. 💀

Thanks man!! Will look into it and probably make a post in this sub again spreading awareness on these pages so we can hopefully get more attention to these pages.

Don't look too deep, I've been working and I don't get notifications on my phone for reddit because I prioritise my notifications for work related ones 💀

My brother went through the same thing, the assault happened in his school. Only he told his inner circle of mates in college and they spread it round for the sole intention of mocking him. It's shit how "hilarious" these people think this is, until it happens to them.

No idea why I got down voted either. Truth be told, I have no clue what to do. But something needs to be done, and I don't see many people trying raise awareness of the issues so I thought I'd start the convo.

What can we do about these issues as individuals? Is there anyone with a big voice fighting on behalf of these topics that we can back? Are there any petitions currently going? If anyone has anything along these lines, post links down below. It's about time we come together and make some action.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
