Sure looking it up, false allegations are indeed rare. The nuance this sub seems to not understand is that a not guilty verdict is not the same thing as false allegation. False allegations are deliberately making accusations in order to harm someone. Not guilty simply means that there wasn't evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.

This is a fucking braindead take and it isn't NIMBYism. It's reality. It's reality and it's not just bum fuck nowhere that's seeing the rate increases. I live in the middle of a fucking city and our rates have gone up a shit load due to the data centers that have gone up outside the city. We've seen the pollution that is caused by them. We've seen how much worse they're making drought conditions. We already had reliable infrastructure well before the first data center went up.

I think you should probably look into WHY some people are opposed to data centers being built at the rate they are. They're driving utilities WAY up while they get government subsidies. They also use up millions of gallons of water daily which is also harmful to the local environment.
