Well, at least so far they strike me as a minority. A very loud, annoying minority. Just don’t fall into the dictatorship of their ridiculous demands and keep them away from any decision-making positions :D Not that they have the brainpower to deal with anything more complex than an iPhone, anyway.

First of all - no, Czechoslovakia and GDR were pretty fucking horrifying during that same period under that same doctrine - pretty much the same repressions, economic stagnation and little access to civil liberties and basic freedoms were present in ALL communist/socialist societies. Dude, Cambodia was not the only former communist country. The entire Eastern Europe suffered for 40+ years under that regime. It was horrible - a fucked up regime that dictated every aspect of people's lives. Central state planning, fucked up egalitarian bullshit (my mother was working as a clerk for 80 dollars per month, while my father, who was a qualified structural ENGINEER, worked for 100 dollars per month - in today's money, yay for equality!). You get bananas and oranges only for Christma…
