Could you give me an example? Like, they’re exposed to it and agree, or they’re exposed to it and balk at it?

So wait, the linked study correlates iq and virginity. Not iq and the preference of women. To say nothing of causation. This sounds like “commoner’s sense” and not science. Studying, instead of say partying, would make you smarter. And you’d have fewer encounters. Lot of other explanations here…

More to the point, is there a low effort way to get into one? Following that screenshots (for the love of god not shares or anything identifying) would be good to circulate for awareness. Or like a secondary group that reposts all the screenshots, creating visibility and accountability.

I couldn’t tell ya, except that’s there’s something wrong with them. And all they know is downvotes too, they’re too socially challenged to use their words and say what’s on their mind I guess

Honestly go ask some other subreddit, these people are like mentally ill woman haters, I can’t make any other sense of what I’m seeing here

I think what I’m slowly learning is that the people are on here because they’re single, which in turn is because they’re serious losers. Doesn’t like drinking?? How dare you suggest that lol

Right? Dated much younger, not necessarily wrong, certainly can be, but at any rate not any kind of strong point. Got dumped. For being more immature than her, of all things. Which he agreed was justified. And then proceeded to share with the rest of the internet. I mean what a cluster. But all the haters here love him, he must be their hero.

Why “such a strong” one word opinion? I’m not sure I’d say it is, it was just easier than typing “how embarrassing for you”.

People assume the wrong thing about others all the time, and they revise their opinions too, don’t be afraid to be yourself and keep being yourself.

Seems fine, why should you always be somebody’s option?

Totally agree. Well to be clear I would not advocate for being a jerk. There’s nothing wrong with being a guy who is nice. But you absolutely should be confident, assertive and nobody’s doormat ever. I’ve been a slow learner on this one, but one of the best things I ever did was start openly checking girls out and making lots of eye contact instead of being a wall flower all the time. Loud and proud!

Nice one. I feel like even reading this gives me some confidence.

For me I don’t mind making the first move or saying something if I mean it. But I won’t give my attention to somebody that doesn’t want it. That’s how I interpret it.

I think you’re on to something. Get a tattoo maybe, let some 5’oclock shadow grow in or do a bar crawl. Wear a tough looking tee shirt or some heavy duty boots. Mountain biking is kinda risky, read the Anarchist Cookbook. Order whiskey or some sort of tough guy drink lol. Just some spitballs. These things probably won’t change your personality or anything, but maybe you could cultivate a certain image.

Not really. At least not a number, maybe the reason why would turn me off though.

Go to a coffee shop, look for the guys who are dressed up, and you be the ballsy one! Good on ya!

Not an expert. Eye contact, go out of your way to say something to them (even “hey”), ask their name, use their name more than you have to. I think these are all extroverted ways of introducing yourself and expressing interest. If they’re interested they’ll probably seem engaged or excited. Then before the conversation draws to a close, “I’d like to talk more, could I get your number”. But you don’t want to just text them, so propose a date or meeting up.

Not any sort of expert. I definitely see what you’re saying, I’d hazard that this method could be your “shoe in the door” and then if things are going great with someone you can tweak your strategy later. But you wouldn’t just want to be totally devoted to someone right off the bat.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
