Thank you for bringing up Modern Family!! I hated how they made Jay's ex-wife out to be a bitter woman. He marries a younger woman, has a whole new family and still gets to be a regular part of his old family's life. Meanwhile, his ex comes on screen portrayed as bitter and jealous? Really doesn't sit right with me. And the Phil/Claire dynamic 🙄

Cohabitation is not time of QUALITY. Quality time requires undivided attention!

That's exactly what I would hear when we got into fights. My family and friends would accuse me of overreacting because they saw him as a charming generous man.

He didn't want to be seen as "whipped" is what it ultimately came down to..

This is a really impactful point. Totally reminds me of my ex who was awful at birthdays and anniversaries. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt because he was "busy," "working hard," and "trying his best." It wasn't until I visited him at work and saw how he went out of his way to be thoughtful and kind to his coworkers/customers that I realized he does indeed have the capacity to be better, he just wouldn't do it for me.

I would never do couples therapy. I'm even hesitant to do regular solo therapy ever again. One therapist that I had started seeing to help me work up the nerve to end my relationship actually encouraged me to "take a break" and then patch things up with him. I felt so gross and betrayed. I mean seriously, hours spent crying my eyes out to that women and she still thought he was a "good man." Working on my healing alone has been more helpful then trying to find a therapist who will hear me. I hop…

This reminds me of a guying I saw a couple of times. The last time I saw him I was at his place where we played cards. I went to use the restroom and the sink/counter was COVERED with hair trimmings, I couldn't believe it. It looked like he hadn't bothered to clean for as long as he'd lived there. I was already on the fence so this just pushed me way over. Thankfully we never even kissed, I couldn't leave fast enough.

Pink pill is radfem separatism or "women going their own way." Black pill takes it a step further to say that the behaviors and depravity men display are biological and unchangeable, therefore a lost cause. Women seeking male validation also a lost cause. Black pill kept to themselves and posts would include statistics, news stories, personal anecdotes, etc.

There is no need for us to explain ourselves to male lurkers. If they've made it this far by reading through this sub and still don't get it, it's not our job to make them understand.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
