Then you know the next scene in this movie: In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, "We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace!" Isaiah 4:1 Honestly man celibacy is not a bad play right now... these filthy whores will fuck up your life, and you don't want the karma from making her get an abortion. You could focus on your spiritual growth instead.

You are right about HIV specifically, but there is a panoply of other shitty things you can get from a female. Warts (HPV) and molluscum contagiosum are common. Avoid the dirtiest of whores.

Thanks but I'm surprised you're so sure you know what they intended to say. Both of them seemed to be talking about these men's attitudes and emotional state not their legal situation or right to vote or whatever. This is why I raised the question as to what they're getting at.

I'm curious what you guys think "disenfranchised" means. Maybe "disempowered" is the word you're after.

Is a RP woman trying to override her nature? Or is she trying to understand it and work with it. Better than being brainwashed by feminism, I say. A step in the right direction.

Great writeup, but self-destruction (vs self-improvement) is totally contrary to TRP. It's also inconsistent with buddhism in general - such protest is only tolerated by certain branches, not taught as virtuous.

Do more. 30 minutes a day right when you wake up, before shower or coffee. Unless you don't have time, in which case do two hours. And find someone experienced to help you. There's some kind of magic that happens when you do this - it doesn't make your problems go away, but it makes them smaller, it removes the suffering that is caused by being wound up in your head without purpose. What you're doing in meditation is gaining control over your mind, so that at any time of the day you will recogni…

Correct. A woman can waive spousal support but not child support, which is at least $1K/mo/child if you earn well.

Sure. If you need someone to express brutality, attention to detail, and adherence to the rules with total moral abandon, a woman is your best bet. Especially one who has already been programmed with victim mentality. If you actually want to produce value in a free society, there's not much use for such talent.

You've subscribed to the illusion that women are actually good at these jobs, and that companies want to hire more of them. If this were true then it would have happened without policy incentives such as hiring so many women/minorities to qualify for federal contracts, or the threat of lawsuits for discrimination etc. The truth is that they hire women in order to win government contracts and avoid lawsuits. Then they do their darndest to put them in positions such as middle management, night shi…

Cigarettes make you fucking stink and this will severely limit your choices. Yes smoking women are hornier, but that's a small % of the pop nowadays. Try the e-cgis bro.

Only bullshit ones. "akin to toilet paper"? No, a properly drawn prenup is totally enforceable. Get a lawyer to write it, then have her sign it in another lawyer's presence, and it's good. Only if you commit some egregious failure to execute a proper contract (signing after the marriage, verbal agreements, coercion etc) can a prenup be thrown out.

Man here. In my experience the best thing you can do is to take notice and give positive encouragement on any sign of progress, even if he so much as smiles. Seize that moment to go for a walk instead of suggesting it when he's unreceptive. As to how to treat him when he is not well, that is hard to say because I don't know him... he may need kind words, touch, or just to be left alone. I have fallen deep into depression myself, and to make matters worse my wife had her own shutdown mode which s…

TRP is closer to philosophy than religion, but it isn't properly either. Religions were our earliest attempts to explain reality, before we graduated to philosophy. Religions demand faith, and usually submission to a higher authority. They aren't rational - nothing is shown or proven. "Thou shalt not kill"... well why not? And surely there are exceptions? etc. This is not to say all principles taught by religion are wrong or bad, only that we can't actually know such things on the basis of faith…

Standing out in the yard looking at the chickens with my now-ex wife. I point to one of them and say "that one looks like a rooster" - they were all supposed to be hens. "No," she quips, "that's just how she looks". I thought she was joking so I answer "That's a MAN, MAN!" No, she wasn't joking. She was actually pissed that I'd assigned a gender role to a fucking bird. For the record yes, it did start crowing a few days later so I killed that bastard and put him on the grill. I'm the cock of the…

That's a good point, but Rearden is a flawed/inconsistent character not a perfect hero. Rand advocated reclaiming anything you've been forced to pay in, and Musk has certainly paid a mountain of taxes prior to Tesla. "Morality ends where a gun begins". The characters aren't supposed to be perfect prototypes of actual people, just interesting definitions to talk about if you want to identify a man's philosophy.

Not at all. He's selfishly motivated - if charging stations were built to that spec, he sells more cars. Musk is very clever to understand that he is not playing a zero-sum game. By litigating less, he also saves a ton of money and distraction. But he's more of a Hank Rearden than a John Galt. Regulators keep trying to shut him down (preventing direct sales for example) but he keeps playing their game. Galt would quit and go to work against the system.

I'm right there with you bro. I'm old enough now, already had a couple kids and divorced, spent a little time dating and was pleased that I can still do it, but I just don't give enough fucks to seek someone any more. I'm just going to focus my life around growing and enjoying myself, and if a woman ever wants to come along for the ride then she can stay only while its good.

Things have changed. In the past it was more rooted in Christianity, as the Libertaian party still is today. Rand rejected faith as a basis for knowledge, and as such rejected the idea that rights or morality derive from the word of God. But today the libertarian movement is very much aligned with Objectivism, and this is largely due to Ron Paul expressing the philosophy.

Rand would distinguish between giving because you rationally value the result of giving, versus giving because you believe that you have a duty to self-sacrifice.

I think she justifies cheating in one of her books. In Atlas Shrugged, Rearden cheats on his wife. But remember Atlas Shrugged is showing how characters would behave under certain circumstances if they differed only in philosophy. Not all are supposed to get it right. Rearden expresses the fault of failing to uphold one's own values - he lives by a double standard where he tries to achieve, but also permits the evil to feed on his efforts. He resists joining the strike and continues to work agai…

From what you have told us there is nothing that confirms she wants you to contact her. I see what you mean - she doesn't expect a direct response. But she's probing to see if I'm interested. She took the effort to come to our house, which she had never done before, and I'm the only person there whom she has any connection with. Remember the golden rule where you should never let a girl think you are more interested in her than she is in you. Good point. This had me thinking of the postcard, whi…
