Probably varies by region. The frequency of women holding the door is not as high but not nearly as low as 1%. I'd say comparatively about 80% of women who could hold the door do and about 95% of men. Might be more about being in the rural midwest rather than an East/West coast urban environment than it is gender though.

If I signed a contract and then found that the details or promises of that contract were disingenuous I could legally have the contract nullified and perhaps seek financial compensation in small claims court. Oh, I remember reading other stories that claimed the mother paid for the contract.
