7	Why Everyone In This Sub Needs To Learn Self-Defense This. I’m 6’2”, decent shape and train Muay Thai but was hit with a bottle in a club and I’m now suffering from pretty bad post concussion syndrome from the brain injury. I’m unable to do a lot of things until I recover. I definitely don’t think I was over aggressive or anything because I train a martial art, but I learnt that martial arts aren’t going to defend you from a weapon very well.
