So society will degenerate into a bunch of extremely handsome, tall, strong men with chiseled jawline but dumb as rocks and scientific progress grinds to a halt? Sure

People don’t understand the concept of co-occurrence and conditional probability. P(good looking|bad boy) is much higher than their opposites

Honestly this is a fantastic article. You can see how the metrics for inequality are used, like the Pareto, the Lorentz curve, the Gini coefficient. They even showed how attractiveness for males and response is perfectly log fit, meaning it’s exponential

Because the “bar” refers to basic human decency. When women say this, they are displaying that they chase attractive men who have less human decency.

Yeah, looks has no correlation with health. You could be a really handsome person with horrible health habits like heavy alcohol, drugs, smoking etc and be really unhealthy, and the converse holds true as well (ugly but really healthy lifestyle)

It’s funny how women say they want Intelligent men yet studies show STEM majors have the highest virginity rates in college.

This is so fucking stupid. So Jeremy Meeks is a genius by this logic. Ok. Guys like Newton and Einstein are the pinnacle of attractiveness. So by this logic, fermi lab should have models working in their offices. This logic is basically women trying to convince themselves the Chads they are attracted to are smart too. 0.381 correlation coefficient is as good as nothing

What men find ugly is not what women find ugly. Look at Adam Driver. All the men think he’s ugly, all the women think he’s hot. So this is a case of an “ugly guy” according to men who is actually perceived as attractive according to women. If women find a guy ugly, they won’t touch him. I’ve seen it myself. Conversely, if they find a guy hot, they will go out of their way to touch him. For example, when I shop for groceries yesterday, some women deliberately brushed her ass against me from behin…

What I don’t get is that how you have these rigorous academic studies saying one thing and then some rando comes along saying “hey these studies must be false because I think otherwise!” and said rando totally ignores the fact that maybe, just maybe, professional research might be more accurate than his judgement.

Yeah you can see from people who have been both sides of the spectrum, it’s not pretty. I remember when I was younger I was usually rejected by girls. Today, I’m too busy to chase women, but I get a fair bit of public attention from women. It’s interesting and shocking when you think about it, and makes one uncomfortable.

To play devils advocate, Richard Ramirez jumped out of bushes and killed women. But some women still loved him because they thought he was handsome. And I’d say jumping out of bushes and killing women is more extreme than jumping out of bushes and groping women. Just think about that for a second. What conclusions can you draw from this example?

You know I see a lot of this post of guys who’ve seen both sides of the coin. And I agree. When I “glowed up” there was a noticeable difference in how girls treated me. And when you notice it sometimes you just think it’s not right. When last time women don’t even bother with you and now they shower you with attention or react better to you. Am I the same person? Yes. But they treat you so differently. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I didn’t change my personality or anything. And you can s…

Eh, it’s happened to me a few times. Usually t happens when you’re going for a girl who you find attractive, and who has friends you don’t find attractive and wouldn’t want to go for. Those less attractive friends see you and know exactly what you’re doing (going for the attractive girl), and they move to cockblock, because they know you aren’t interested in them. The reason why you know it’s not because the girl wants to save her friend is because every time it happens the girl that intervened …

yeah the good thing is if I'm sitting alone for a meal and a couple comes i know sure as hell they ain't gonna sit near cuz the guy will pull her away , so I can have my peace n quiet: )

As a guy what I find extremely annoying is when I end up near a couple by proximity just doing my own thing e.g standing near them in public transport or sitting at the adjacent table having a meal and the boyfriend starts mate guarding like an idiot, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her to another place. I get real annoyed especially when I’m minding my own business and I see it happen in front of me. I don’t even look intimidating, I keep my head down and I have a small frame for a guy.…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/19 03:28 AM

Manliness doesn’t contribute to society. If anything, intellect contributes the most. So technically female mate choice of selecting for the most attractive men instead of intellect hinders the progress of society as a whole.

I’m assuming you are sufficiently attractive but lack redeeming qualities in a long term partner, I.e being hardworking, conscientious, idk. So they just see you as a toy to be played with.

Hi there OP, my currently working on a thesis / theory that more or less encapsulates what you said w r t this. The current understanding in the community is wrong. The US does not train ISIS. The US funded Mujahideen in Afghanistan in 1979. The same Mujahideen became Al-Qaeda, and ISIS is an offshoot of Al-Qaeda. Can I guess that you promote conspiracy theories because you like the idea that you are enlightened and smarter than all the other 'dumb sheeple', and hence you feel good about your supposed insider knowledge? Yes, you like conspiracy theories so you can show how smart you are and feel superior to dumb people. the US is not training ISIS.

it's not a decline of a great civilization. It's just the rise of a new one, a non state entity, basically, the rise of Islamic fundamentalism. Interestingly, if you study the history of these movements, you realize that many of them originate from the same cause: Western government intervention in the middle East. For example, you have Al-Qaeda. The year was 1979, Afghanistan. The US trains Mujahideen to fight against the USSR who wanted to strengthen the communist movement in Afghanistan. The …

Cheers for the post, it's informative. Sometimes I have trouble reconciling the idea that women signal intention non-verbally rather than verbally. It's baffling, sometimes, to see a woman say nothing but signal interest. It's just weird, given that what they say doesn't hold weight but it's how they behave towards you. It's also very interesting to see how every woman uses this style of non-verbal communication, it seems practically hardwired into their brain. Also, reciprocating touch is extre…

Okay this is too extreme. Besides, for women to not vote is an unfeasible, extreme policy that no democratic government will even dare to implement. It would cause furious uproar. There would be riots in the bloody streets. Even if your argument holds true, no way will women not be allowed to vote. Changing voting legislation in such a radical way will cause too much backlash for any rational government to even consider doing that.

Nah mate. If you have an cognitively nimble mind you can reduce something to it's simplest, purest, most basic essence, whilst understanding complex nuances at the same time. Ironically, you have failed to understand nuance in this instance, the nuance that both reductionism and nuance can co-exist. ;)

Oh. I thought your post was referring to an active relationship, not a already broken one. But definitely, you're right. I remember chasing a girl who rejected me, before I discovered Red Pill ideology, and it was horrible. Zero success, and I looked like a thirsty creep. Little did I know how ... pointless that was. No point chasing a girl who's rejected you.

alright fair play lad:) Here's what I think that can add on to your idea. If you can possibly reverse engineer this dynamic, by making her care about you instead, by making her chase you instead, you win the game. You then truly have the luxury to not care about her because she herself wants you. Rather than her becoming the object of your desire, you become the object of her desire. By doing this, you effectively make her care about you, eliminating the need for you to care too much about her. …
