The science behind trans is a huge source of doublethink for SJWs. On one hand, they call gender a social construct. On the other hand, there's a lot of physiological evidence that trans people's brains are actually wired differently. A MTF transsexual is likely to have a brain morphology (something which won't change even with hormone replacement therapy) reminiscent of a females, and vice versa for a FTM, which is what dramatically affects their behavior and can be a root cause for numerous ps…

FDR is a borderline cult. Google search it and you'll get plenty of examples, most of them revolving around defooing. The "Psychology" Stef uses comes from his wife who, through a loophole in licensing, was able to practice psychology despite being hideously underqualified. UPB is a rip-off of Hans Herman Hoppe's Argumentation Ethics, except it's lacking all of Hoppe's rigor and logic. Stef's understanding of philosophy is actually pretty shallow. He hides his confusion behind obfuscation and hi…

Why dudes crawl on their bellies think it's going to turn chicks on is wrong. Unfortunately, this is how multiple generation of men were raised. They were taught that being supplicating, whiny, and obviously thirsty is going to attract a woman. Their single moms, teachers, and the media taught them that these were the traits which would help them "win" in the end.

I love how he can write a whole article without putting forward a real argument or defense for his previous claims. He just spouts off and uses the same shaming tactics and appeals to emotion that we've been hearing since we were kids. If you ever needed evidence that traditional conservatism and modern feminism are two sides to the same coin, that shit article is it.

Maintain frame, never give into their baiting or be honest. I'm in a similar situation and have learned the best way to handle them is to keep the answers ambiguous, sarcastic, varied, and flippant. "Don't you want a girlfriend?" I already have four. I don't think my wife would appreciate that. I ordered one from Russia last week. I have one, she's in my freezer. Are you coming onto me? I don't think I'm ready yet. (Insert random girl's name here) was killed in that pygmy horse attack just last …

No, this isn't Futurama. The most sex robots could do is drop the price of vagina to be equal to that of penis. In a world populated by mouth-breathing trogs, that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing as it would probably lead to far fewer unwanted pregnancies and STDs. Marriage and procreation would (hopefully) go back to being something that both parties engage in on relatively equal grounds, because let's face it; a lot of people out there actually want to get married and have kids.

Women hate anything that takes attention from them. A group of us at work have started playing DS games together during lunch as a quick way to unwind. Some of the women (usually the needier and/or ones who are post-wall) end up constantly talking shit to us. It actually got worse when a couple cute girls started playing as well. Of course the girls are "empowered" and "doing what they want" while the guys are "virgin losers".

Holy shit. The guys making this are so deluded. Why the fuck would this video make me want to get married? That piece of paper may be the most valuable thing you ever own. Except in reality, I don't own it. My hypothetical wife essentially would. Since she would have the majority of the legal power in the relationship, she's the one who "owns" it. Doug Taulbee Cherry picking, white feather BS. Plus I don't want to join the military (nor would they take me since I'm 32). I like not having a care …

Well just evidenced by some of the other posts, I think you're right. That's just more revenge fantasy porn. That being said, I don't think the world burning or collapsing is how most people envision it. Infact, I think we're already in the middle of it right now. Wanting to see the world burn, and not caring if the world burns are two different things. I think most MGTOW are the latter, but come off as the former. It's not that we want to get on top of our palace and play our lyres while Rome Burns. It's that we knew Rome was going to burn and have prepared for it. Sure, there's probably a little schadenfreude going on, but at this point we see that trying to stop the tsunami by digging a trench will probably be less effective than just going to higher g…

That's not really the point. The point was ownership. You may not mind paying property taxes, and most people don't seem to, but that doesn't change the nature of the transaction.

There's a lot of hidden costs in renting out any property. HOA fees, upkeep, property taxes, property management (this is a must if you're not going to be around), bad tenants, etc... Plus it's not always certain you'll have a tenant or that you'll get the price you want. Not only that, as 2008 showed us, markets fluctuate. Things won't always be static. And this isn't even mentioning the possibility of financial issues popping up before you pay off the mortgage. A common thread you'll see with …

I wonder if this woman ever thought to herself: "I wonder why a Netflix for books doesn't already exist?" Library argument aside, the problem is that they're really not cost effective. There are services which are almost like a 'Netflix for Books' such as Amazon or Google, but they're usually tagged as additional items to larger services like Prime. The thing is, paying a monthly fee for books, unless it's ridiculously cheap ($10/mo isn't cheap), isn't cost effective for most consumers. Very few…

I tend to reserve "manlet" for those guys who just like to start shit. As suits are pretty much beta bucks territory these days in western countries and you'd have to look pretty dapper to impress a woman that is unaware of your status in a company even if you're a CEO. Suits are dependent on the occasion. It's "beta" to be overdressed or to be wearing one at the wrong time, but having one good, tailored suit should be in every guy's closet. Even if you're like me and only wear it once every 18 months or so (thank you casual work environment), having one ready that…

There are some schools which will be even lower. UNM for example is < $30k/year for graduate students with cost of living factored in (if they can manage a Spartan lifestyle). Of course, it looks like this girl just had to go to NYU, and of course that meant keeping up appearances as well. Plus, women have so many opportunities afforded to them in additional grants/scholarships on top of the ones that are already given out. I have no pity for her whatsoever.

Vice has gone completely shit tier, even for leftists. They used to do pretty good documentaries (mainly before HBO picked them up) with little editorializing and at least attempting to keep some sort journalistic neutrality. Now it's obvious they want to push an agenda...which brings me to my next point. Whatever happened to the left's view of cultural tolerance and equality? They sure are judging Japanese culture by western puritanical mores. The doublethink is strong with Vice.

The funny thing is that feminists, for the most part, despise transsexuals unless they fit the expected stereotype. The typical legbeard obviously isn't known for its tolerance of different ideologies, but if a transperson doesn't completely tow the line, they'll be slammed with shit like "internalized transphobia", "man with tits", or other put downs and shaming techniques. As the other post pointed out, corporations love feminism. Until women decide "nerdy" things are uncool again, I completely expect to see more of this. Fortunately I couldn't care less about Star Wars anymore. The idea that chasing pussy isn't at, or near the top of our desires (and might even be at the bottom or non-existent) is impossible for them to fathom. It's like asking a blind person to describe the color blue. I also think that for a lot of these trogs (or at least the ones who constantly try to tear down MGTOW) there's a bit of cognitive dissonance going on. They say they've swallowed the pill. I think part of it is a need for validation. It's certain she has orbiters and people fawning for her attention, so she's trying to figure why you're not one of them. At that point, it's a challenge. It's to bolster her self-esteem and prove her worth to herself. I'm in a similar situation right now. At dinner yesterday, I told my fiancée that I want to pursue oral surgery. When I told her I need at least six more years,... she flipped out. I never seen her so angry before. She literally took all my notes that I was studying for my exam next week and tore them up. Reminds me of my first week of football practice my freshman year of high school. The JV squad (who the varsity squad scrimmaged against) was off doing something so they pulled a few of us freshman to go against some of the seniors in hitting drills. And as some have pointed out, sex is a big deal for people. Luckily for some men like me, since a very young age, even though I beat my dick like it owed me money, I never slept with a woman unless I had genuine feelings of compassion and respect for her. This is why MGTOW is so easy (for me), most North American women that I come across are bumbling, over-privileged idiots who can't hold a conversation. I wonder how common this is among MGTOW guys and guys in general.

I think it depends. I'm working my ass off now so I don't have to later. I'm OK with doing 60 hour weeks for the next few years if I can pay off my debt, save, and invest so in 5-10 years I can get away with working only part time. I'd love to work part time, but right now it's just not realistic.

I'm relatively poor right now. Base salary of $25k/year and bonuses/OT which bring it up to around $32k/year. I have a decent sized chunk of debt which I'm grinding down. Despite not having a lot of money, I live a minimalist lifestyle and am still able to save because of it. I hope to invest ~10k by the end of the year while still having ~10k in savings.

Eh, how someone defines mediocre is wholly subjective. Right now I'm working my ass off so I can live the low-stress, low pressure, very quiet life in a few years. The people who thrive on working, competition, etc... would consider it mediocre, but I consider it fulfilling. But that in itself is the power of no. Saying no to societies expectations (which wants you to be a good little worker drone till 67), saying no to the expectations of women or family so you can go your own way.

I think what's important is how much of a waste "investing" in lots of women can be. If society (where do you think secured student loans and federal aid comes from?) "invests" $50-$500k for an engineer, doctor, physicist, programmer, etc... Which gender will give a greater ROI on average; the one who will work 60+ hours a week for 40 years, or the one that will get burnt out after 10 and need a sabbatical? I think it really depends on different sub-cultures in the US. Despite the majority of the country speaking English, in a lot of ways, the US feels a lot less homogenous than the EU. For example; at my last job, I worked with a lot of women. When they found out I was offered something new, about 75% of them congratulated me, asked where I would be working, and what I'd be doing.
