21	One of the "joys" of being a male teacher in a primary school I worked as a security guard at a mall and can confirm that is how it works with no trespass orders (at least in the US). If you're "banned" by a mall it usually means there is a no trespass order with the police that has a lifetime of 1 year. Coming onto the grounds during that time period results in the police being called immediately. Another of my favorites from Thomas Sowell: "Children are being taught that it's important to have views, not that it's important to know what you're talking about." - that one gave me chills when I heard it. I believe there was one line even where the author said it's definitely not similar when a man's looks are complimented as when a woman's is. 1	I got mixed reviews for my article in the paper about reverse sexism. You want equality; pay the difference! Yeah, I have to agree with that one. I did a fine job at 14, but there are few others I would entrust to drive at that age looking back now. It's just a reminder to me of how arbitrary age is as a measurement. It's not like you turn 16 and are magically capable of driving. There are still plenty of 20-somethings I wouldn't trust to drive my own car. -1	I got mixed reviews for my article in the paper about reverse sexism. You want equality; pay the difference! That's an excellent point that men don't get into accidents BECAUSE they're men. As the old saying goes though - "figures lie and liars figure." I wonder how the number of male drivers compares to the number of female drivers. If there are more men on the road than women, it would be almost statistically impossible for women to get into more accidents than men. Fellow Iowan here - I remember my mom complaining about how much it cost to insure my two brothers and I when two of us were in high school and the oldest was in college (we're each two years apart). We compared the insurance costs to our neighbors who had two similarly aged girls.
