You’re not alone brother. There are two sides to this story. One side values the affection, the loyalty, the trust. But that’s the only side you ever get the chance to address. This side you speak freely of here gets stuffed down in real life. You stifle your ideas, your goal-chasing desires. But I say fuck that. Do what you must for yourself. It’s not always so black and white to say the girls gotta go. You are still in control of your own evenings. You have nobody stopping you from cutting out…

I find his writing is more about writing things people don't usually say, rather than actually creative or humourous. When he talks about men with a harem of body pillows it just feels like he is making a false enemy out of thin air. Something a group of consumers would normally upvote and respond to by the tens and hundreds. (There's a word for that right?)

My biggest struggle comes with the point of Social Status Coming out of a relationship where I foolishly shunned my friends in favour of my partner, and turned down events I would love to attend now, I'm left variably alone without many people to associate with. The problem I face is that in my area, the attractive social groups (ones that catch attention to women) are mainly the guys going boating, trips, doing activities nigh impossible to invite yourself too. High barrier to entry. Guess it's…

I live in Northern AB, Grande Prairie more specifically. Probably the worst place to be as far as real estate goes. Lucky for me I'm one of the few still working for good money in the oilfield. They are still charging an arm and a leg for housing even though nobody is really working anymore. You're right saying the numbers don't add up. As much as I want to believe you just have to work hard to make that kind of thing a reality, the truth is location plays a huge part. Few and far are finding th…

Unfortunately where I live the only multifamily homes are crawling with people looking to get their own piece of the rental property opportunity, and also sell on average for $360k CAD. Making the barrier to entry VERY high stakes and the equally tough task on making that mortgage less than what rent goes for around here. Looked for a very long time to get my foot in the door this way. Unfortunately I just don't think it's viable aside from vets and people who work real estate full time.

Inequality is most certainly not slanted against men. Any self respecting man would not pretend themselves to be a victim. Inequality is slanted against the inept, the unaware, and the gullible. What you choose yourself to believe about advantages and equality, is what makes inequality unfavourable against you, not your gender.

Thank you... I need this way of seeing it to help out a friend blinded by this kind of mentality. Truly blocking him from any meaningful or positive relationships while he maintains his cynicism about these things. I fear it's the same for more than him.

To add to that, don't all men here long for a traditional gender-role dynamic? Isn't that what we try to look for in women? And when women are open to that idea, even logically as presented here (not just their hamster subconscious), we call her an entitled cunt. Just because she didn't mention 'her place' in the role ie. cooking/cleaning/womanly things, (because the situation didn't provide the need to voice that), we whine and moan about having to hold doors open or avoid shoulder checking peo…

Who does that benefit? What the hell?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
