Was just thinking this. Don’t let these men reproduce.

Yeah I don’t get why this is seen as such a big no-no. We at least text each other to let them know we’re going to a new bar, tried a great cocktail, ran into so-and-so, this bar is playing great music, having one more and then headed home, etc. Not everything has to be seen as so obsessive and controlling, it’s nice to know that your SO is thinking of you when they’re not with you, and to keep them in loop in case something were to happen. It’s minimal effort and not a red flag at all in my opi…

I’m also a strong believer in “if you don’t have anything to hide, why do you care if I snoop?” I would not be worried whatsoever if my partner decided to snoop… because I have nothing to hide. The men in the comment sections of EVERY relationship advice sub who swear up and down they have nothing to hide but they just “need their privacy” are lying. At the end of the day, if you don’t want someone snooping, you clearly don’t want them to find something.

There is nothing like going to a bar or a party and seeing every girl screaming the lyrics to WAP. It’s literally embarrassing.

I think it’s more about the fact that strip clubs are not morally sound establishments. They were created by men, for men, at the expense of women. Most of these women either A. have been tricked into thinking it’s “empowering,” like the OP states, or B. are working there as a sort of last resort - many of those women come from backgrounds of poverty, abuse, addiction, and shame, and are only further exposed to a lot of the same problems while working as strippers. For some, it probably started …

How does a shower even get like that? Does this man own a toilet, or does he squat and take all his shits in the corner of his tub? Does he own toilet paper, or does he just routinely wipe his ass with the curtain? I have so many questions. Men are fucking foul.

Thank you for that side note. There is nothing worse than a man accusing you of being “controlling” because you rightfully ask for respect and honesty in a relationship.

Having second thoughts... That’s the part that really got me. After all that, she’s still giving him the benefit of the doubt like women are always expected to do.

Giiiiiiiirl when I was entry-level making like, no money, I had a date lined up every night or else I wouldn’t eat. My boss literally said “we had to get you a promotion so you can stop going on dates with guys you don’t even like,” lmao. Do I feel guilty about it? Not really, because I would only ever do that to garbage men who made it clear they only wanted to get in my pants.

Ew I’m sorry but beards like that are SO unsanitary and gross, and they just look so straggly and wirey. I don’t care how much beard oil you using, that length is not cute on anyone.

Every single person who liked and/or shared that shit should be tracked and put on a list, if not arrested.

I was 21 at the time. I only told the admins of that site I was underage because after some research, that was apparently the only way they would remove it. They refused to remove it the second time because they had “proof” that I was over 18. Absolute bullshit.

I had a guy best friend once! He held on to my phone and wallet for me while we were out drinking one night, because my dress didn’t have pockets and I hated wearing a purse. No biggie, he was my BEST FRIEND! I texted him from my laptop a few days later and noticed some really suspect previous messages.... which were MY nudes from MY phone, sent to HIM. He went through my phone, sent himself my nudes, deleted the messages and gave my phone back like nothing happened. Even took credit for being s…

Ugh I feel this. I’ve done so many nice things for so many people who couldn’t have cared less or would never do the same for me. It’s so disheartening and makes you never want to go out of your way for anyone again. Chin up though, someday you’ll find someone who deserves you and will reciprocate without question! HVM are out there, somewhere.

My favorite, very famous male chef hyphenated his last name with his wife’s maiden name (she did the same) and I love that idea! Edited to add: marriage should be about two equals coming together, not ownership.

That’s horrible, I’m glad you made it out of there safely! I also hope you’ve recovered mentally, I know it took me a long time to stop dwelling on it. VERY lucky to have your family there, too. I think about that all the time - would any bystander, or even my friends try to stop him? If my boyfriend were some other guy who wasn’t as persistent or protective, would he have just given up once they threatened him? The world is so scary sometimes.

Yeah. Turns out, my boyfriend’s sister went to school with the bartender, and he has always been a creep. She said she wasn’t surprised he was working at the “freshman” bar because they’d be easy targets. The fact that my boyfriend and the bartender vaguely knew each other is probably one of the reasons I got out of there safely. I shudder to think of the amount of girls this could have happened to before or after me, who weren’t as lucky. Edited to add: the bar was shut down, re-named and re-op…

My 19th birthday was about two months into my freshman year of college, and by that time we all had fake IDs and were regulars at the “freshman bar,” a skeevy bar in NYC that was notorious for letting underage kids in. I was pretty close with all the (male) bouncers and the main (male) bartender because I always helped them clear tables, clean up spills, and restock the lady’s room with TP and paper towels whenever I was around. Like most girls, I almost always drank for free because of the flir…

I’m guilty of being 25 and still reading a lot of YA, lol. But this is on point, so many of them felt very inappropriate for the target audience age group for those exact reasons.

That’s one reason why porn is so gross. So much of it tends to the rape fetishes men have.

Yes! Not just in romance novels, but in sooooo many books with female protagonists that revolve around her finding a man to feel complete. All other aspects of her life come second to her love life, and we should all find that entertaining and inspiring. I love fiction/romance but I realized I rarely feel empowered by the books I read.

I HATE how every man thinks that every woman thinks Christian Grey is “goals.” Like no, no one actually wants to wear the butt plug that was used by all 500 of your exes, and no one actually wants to be tied up, whipped and raped as “punishment”

The obvious that comes to mind is 50 Shades of Grey, where the psychopath man manipulates his girlfriend into being humiliated and physically hurt just so he can get off, while constantly reminding her of all the other women in his life, then plays Sad Boi™ to get her to stick around and take care of him. 125 million copies sold, nominated for multiple awards.

I once heard, “if someone ever asks you to do something for them, do it really bad so you never have to do it again.” It was either my ex boyfriend after being asked to help with laundry for the first time, or Paris Hilton, idk.

This was probably one of two scenarios: a major pickmeisha trying to prove how “chill” she is by posting something like this on social media, OR this grimy ass dude took the pictures and sent them to all of his grimy ass friends without her knowing.

I’m having a hard time with this too. In my experience, almost all of the above listed are sometimes warranted if you are in a relationship with someone who doesn’t treat you right to begin with. If you start to think you’re the abuser, take a step back and ask yourself why you display these behaviors in the first place. If a LVM starts making you feel like you’re the abusive or toxic one for reacting (like this) to their actions, choices or behavior... that screams gaslighting to me.
