Just don’t linger. If she says no, just say, okay bye. If she says yes, get her number, maybe chat for a minute or two, say bye, nice to meet you, and then leave. If you are respectful and not hovering around her space, you aren’t creepy. Maybe a minor annoyance at worst. I have had this happen to me twice. Once was nice, he came up to me at a museum and gave me his number, and then left. I was impressed and flattered, so I texted him for a bit even though I was struggling with my sexuality at t…

I’m not perfect, but at least I don’t threaten physical violence because someone is “testy.”

You should focus more on confidence than dominance. Needing to prove that you’re better than any other man comes across as insecurity. Stop seeing things as a competition and learn to be okay with yourself. It seems like you think of dominance as requiring conflict and aggression. Both of those traits are unattractive. You should strive toward confidence and assertiveness.

Is there something wrong with you?

Sure! Things like moving closer, leaning in, casually touching you. For example, touching your leg with theirs if you're sitting next to each other, or putting her hand on your arm or shoulder, or brushing an eyelash off your face. Giving you compliments, especially about your face. "You have such long eyelashes" as I leaned in closer to his face is one I've done (and he didn't pick up on it lol). Catching her looking at you from across a room, but she looks away when you catch her. Being like "…

I sort of agree with this, and sort of don’t. I think it depends on how far you take it. At the right level, you’re being confident. Know your worth, that you are attractive, have a good personality, etc. Know that you have something to offer. Be a bit flirty, politely state your interest, and take take rejection with grace. You likely won’t make anyone uncomfortable that way, and even if she’s not interested she’ll still likely be flattered. I think this is what you’re talking about and I defin…

Right? And any time I reply to people saying, no, that won’t work. They feel the need to insult me! A couple months ago I had a guy tell me I must be ugly because I told him that trying to be an “alpha male” was ridiculous and unattractive. They would rather have their (wrong) ideas reaffirmed by other men than listen to women about what we actually like lol.

Nooo. The first 3 are okay, maybee the first 5. But if you find out she's attracted to women and start asking all about her sexual experiences involving women, that makes it seem like you're fetishizing her. I'm bi, if I mentioned that to someone I was getting to know and they started asking me all about kissing women and threesomes, I would be outta there and honestly just pissed off.

Yup!! When I was single I would totally avoid guys like this who were pushy about sex. Foh. Get to know me. I don't need to see your monster condom that you use for your magnum dong, I want to know that you'll treat me like a real person before we fuck.

Seriously. As a women, most of the advice on this sub is… yikes. There’s a difference between sexually confident and being pushy about your dick. This seems like the latter.

Eugh, honestly if a guy was trying to impress me by being all “macho tough guy” I would be turned off of them. Playing into dominance and submission makes you no better than my actual dog, except that he’s cuter. Be assertive. Don’t take shit. Stand up for yourself. But rise above all this dumbass dominance crap. If someone tries to go all macho on you, and you just act like a normal person, you come off looking better.

I think that you are projecting your insecurities onto women. I’ve seen tons of gorgeous women in our age range with so-so looking guys. I think personality factors into that a lot. Being funny, kind, sweet, etc. What personality are you presenting to girls? Is it based in your insecurity? Also, why are you only interested in girls “out of your league” and not more average looking girls? Isn’t that shallow of you, not wanting to be with someone of average attractiveness, like you are?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
