i commented more so because there are so many men denying it happens in the comments. i think some women reject men for that reason but most don’t. in fact i think a lot of women use dating apps for self confidence. but i think the insecure thing is moreso when you have legit insecurities, it’s someone you know, or it’s a long term thing you dont want to “mess up”

it still affects women even if they aren’t watching it because it shapes mens expectations

i have a long term bf and occasionally i will refuse sex because of being self conscious. obv i love having sex with him and i love him, but feeling my body naked and touching him when im insecure makes me so sad. its a real thing many women experience

yeah like… i get wanting to stay attractive but you shouldnt need to seek external validation that bad, especially if you have a history of cheating

mixed signals is not that. mixed signals is when ONE SINGULAR PERSON is doing things that contradict each other. not when one girl smiles at you because she likes you, and another smiles at you because she wants to appease u to make you go away

what are you talking about? i agree hookup culture is bad in general, but there is an immense expectation to sleep around in university and late high school
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 12:24 PM
2

its interesting bc as a woman we are pretty much taught only looks matter until we are old enough to realize they are only most of the equation, but that men won’t bother with us in the first place if they dont think we are attractive

what media….. i havent seen one person who genuinely thinks minors should get bottom surgery. ur right about the media being controlled n stuff. i just dont think “be true to yourself and be good” is a bad message to send
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 12:07 PM
1

so what is the alternative realistically? should media promote the idea that you need to be hot and if you aren’t too bad?

how are the men in here not understanding its their gender that is the majority of those predating on them AND women??

🙄 my point had nothing to do with race. you’re going to tell me women of all races are more persecuted by men than men (of all races, again) are?

the reason these things are so common for women is bc we historically have always had to present attractive, well kept, dainty, etc

i dont like sanders OR hassan….. i agree w u in that regard. thanks for calling me a prole. i want a complete overhaul of the party system and hate all career politicians. u dont know anything about my views, lol, assuming all of this stuff. anyone who claims to be socialist and doesnt embody it i dont support. also if you think liberals in government right now are socialist and not just capitalists you are deliberately not paying attention to their greed

nobody “puts on a farce” … its scary losing someone you love because of something like attractiveness/desire. of course they will want to stick it out. im confused what scenario you are even talking about and skipping to “women are afraid to be alone” is so dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 02:08 PM

women are also quite literally raised to be “fixers” we are raised to believe we will one day have kids and we are also reaponsible for other peoples happiness. we are also conditioned that we are to be submissive. obv women who love killers and shit are wrong, and should be judged, but we are told to be submissive. its one of the reasons abuse is so prevalent i think u must also be around crazy ass women but i dont know one woman who actually is attracted to men who act like thay
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 01:35 AM

so women have to be harsh on promiscuous men for men to control themselves…. got it. if women are harsh on promiscuous men a dude would come on here and complain about slut shaming. why cant men be responsible for other men, who endanger the women close to them?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 12:19 AM
2

and it goes the other way around too bruh. men sexualize femcel killers, female adult sex offenders (teachers), you think if stalin was a woman there wouldnt be a bunch of men trying to fuck?

i think a lot of that comes from the AIDS epidemic, not particularly a gender based root. of course its wrong, but i think its just stigma. i do believe that gay/bi men might be more reluctant to fit into the “masculine” role that a lot of women want, and theres also a lot of prejudice against mlm and men who are “girly”, so i think its coupled. i think also we objectify the platonic relationship of gay men and stigmatize the sex life, and do the opposite for lesbians
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 12:12 AM
3

i think a lot of harsh criticism and negative standards for men come from men. ive NEVER heard a woman shame a man for being a virgin, in my experience. i have heard COUNTLESS men virginshame other men.

what is the current situation?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 12:07 AM

as a woman i agree. i personally dont interchange unattractive and creepy. you can be unattractive but not creepy at all! or you can can be hot and creepy which then, makes me unattracted to you
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 05:43 PM
3

obviously not all women care about it, some women prefer slight misogyny. i think a flaw with your post is comparing the entire crop of women with the few men who meet the “credentials” you stated (which, credentials in themselves are stupid as fuck, and to think that someone worth your time will think of you as a number in that way is dumb). when in reality its equal in terms of leagues. like low league women with low league men etc. most women i know and have encountered dont have a long list …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 08:05 PM
3

maybe because valuing equality is the baseline, lowest bar? if everyone is for equality to some degree, of course those who are more adamant and expressive about it will draw the attention of women more than those who show the base level of “yeah, women shouldnt be property i guess”
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 07:03 PM
5

yeah its insane, i feel like a lot of men just think of chads and stacys instead of actual people who DONT use others lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 06:56 PM
1

🙄 what? if someone can bypass the effort and emotional intimacy needed to form a relationship with someone and can “date” an AI that is literally trained to accommodate them why wouldn’t they do it? people are lazy
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 08:48 PM
2

okay, well im not people. youre the one playing tit for tat and not taking her seriously. she didnt even disregard your experience? ur playing victim right now when no one even discounted what you said
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 08:46 PM
1

a man can treat you well and love you and still be a misogynist
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 12:39 PM
3

i dont know how people dont believe this- its such a common thing among religious women i have met
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 12:36 PM
7

so she cant have a bad experience but you can?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 12:35 PM
1

some will be doing it out of preference
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 12:33 PM
1

bc i dont agree w the person i was responding to…. not every member of each sex behaves the same way and it limits people to assume that
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 03:13 PM
2

no? im saying you ghosted/left a date whatever because she trauma-dumped. how is that different from a woman doing it to a man like what the guy i responded to said
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 09:15 PM
1

that’s how most stuff works- if you’re attractive you are treated better
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 08:45 PM
1

notice how what i said it is based in my experience
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 08:44 PM
1

ive never met women who do that so im sorry you have. most women i know only lose attraction to men for “dumping” when they use them as new mommies and then dont reciprocate when she has something to say. you sound really lost in your own views of the sexes
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:22 PM

yeah its taken time for me to tell my male friends: i am just trying to be nice to you and treat you the way i would treat my female friends. please dont take it the wrong way
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:20 PM
5

wow just the way you talk about women is upsetting. she dodged a bullet.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:18 PM

sounds like what hes saying, lol. i feel like a majority of the time there is a REASON why shes not attracted
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:34 PM

both people can have accountability as two people made bad decisions to be in that relationship… but thats not what you said in your original comment
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:32 PM

dw i agree with you…. why are they singling blame on the women lmfao two people agreed to this !
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:31 PM
1

so what happened to you is similar to the thing op described him doing in the post? it happens on both sides
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:29 PM

i agree totally. when i have spoken about my experiences being sexualized as a preteen and child, many men i know have stated they were jealous because it was a compliment to have that sort of attention. it sucks because it makes it hard to empathize with people who dont understand the long lasting effects of being sexualized from a young age, and how that affects your trust and how you interact with people
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:24 PM

i see this a lot with my male friends or men i have met. i will compliment them because i have always heard “well men dont ever get compliments” so i actively try to change that. but if theyre not attracted to me, they just ignore it, and if they are then they think i am flirting when i am just trying to show platonic affection
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:21 PM
3

so what is the point of your post? everyone knows that women dont have to work as hard to get laid
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:19 PM
8

yeah i used tinder for a while and hooked up once, then met my bf on it and we are engaged 3 years later. it works when you want it to
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:18 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
