women tend to evaluate looks based on grooming, men tend to evaluate looks based on biological determinants; hence the discrepancy

how often do you approach women? do you objectively think you have good game (better than the majority of your own male friends, assuming your male friends are neurotypical and had or have gfs)

looks don't matter for 80-90% of people, anyone who believes it matters to such a significant degree is likely average themselves and angry they don't get the treatment that very attractive people do (top 5-10% of the spectrum) or may genuinely be part of that bottom 5-10%

i agree OP. the information you consume shapes your thoughts and behaviours and will make people achieve the reality that they've "procured". the people who i see happily dating aren't the people on PPD who i see complain about things and pedestalize sex and all this other bullshit, they're just people living their lives.

it's true for men; my friends who are facially unfortunate have had random girls find them attractive from them just living their life. there's a certain charm to people who do everything for themselves; though the less attractive one is the longer the interval between finding a partner will be. men still find relationships though through just existing, as long as you live a social life where you go out and have a good friend group.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 02:58 AM

i agree, there's a bit of a loser bias where people attempt to blame some unchangeable characteristic of themselves for why they're unlovable. i used to have similar loser-y thoughts but an elder friend of mine when i was younger told me that you're always going to be looking for reasons why someone else has what you don't, instead of focusing on my own mission. back to the adhd topic though -- my observations are that adhd people tend to be a lot more quick-witted and entertaining, and tend to …

i have no issue with single moms, few of my friends were raised by wonderful women who worked hard to provide for themselves and their kids solo. i do however think that having single mothers isn't a good thing with absentee fathers because it comes with many sacrifices for mother and child.

it's not spiteful to not care; they are people who i used to know, not people that i care about now.

i don't see them as "broken" but yes i would see them as for "recreational use" because i do want kids in the horizon. this inherently makes those women not compatible with my long term goals. i'll still date them but there is an inherent expiry date on the relationship because of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:14 PM

in your real life you should be able to observe some of your friends are constantly in relationships despite not being chads. this is because they have a good personality for dating. other friends may sporadically find relationships but they don't find them as easily because their personality isn't ideal for dating. the idea that personality doesn't help for dating is absurd and comes off as someone who doesn't have much of a social life to see the disparity that personality creates in outcomes.…

at the end of the day marriage has a certain connotation that people expect of relationships rather than the contractual side. while i agree with you, i wouldn't want the women in my life having 2 kids and being unmarried

life as a man is working for what you want largely. the game isn't fair and you are expected to rise up to the occasion. winners and women look down on loser men and that's the frank reality of things.

it's all about self serving-ness in the examples you provided; you shouldn't have to change and if they're the one for you it'd be natural (FOR YOU). i've got female friends who when they did not get approached on a night out they were actually crying... these aren't reddit type women they're part of my drinking/party friend group who aren't really online like that. women generally when they go out want to (and expect to) be approached.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 07:01 AM

it's a lot more discrete than you think. one of my friends is notorious for approaching pretty much every pretty woman and he's very slick about it -- leave him alone for 2 minutes and he's off chatting up some girl. it's def not super common but you wouldn't notice most approaches because they're very fast and guys who are good at talking to women make it look natural. if you can notice a direct approach then it's from a guy who isn't very good at it.

i only dispute the argument that body shaming for men is "not okay". i don't think the big boy song is a big deal, i don't have any issue with promoting body standards for changeable factors. women saying they prefer buff men, fat men, etc. isn't a big deal.

some people have more relationship oriented personalities than others and assume that if you're well spoken, well groomed, gainfully employed (all the basic checkmarks) then you should logically end up in a relationship. they project their personality onto others. however, not all personalities are conducive to relationships and may cause a much smaller niche of people to be attracted to them for them, leading others to be single for longer as they navigate the dating market.

in regards to popular media directed at men, complex would be an example of a magazine which has a primary demographic being men. vice started out as a primarily men's oriented magazine, not sure if it still is. cracked used to be a popular men's magazine. nme, hypebeast, highsnobiety etc. the list goes on. they don't talk about women in the same way as women's magazines do.

i don't think it's "shaming" women to glorify small waist, big butt, thick thighs etc. it is promoting a body standard, not necessarily shaming. and yes, shaming men is allowed. celebrity men have their dicks voyeured by women (justin bieber, kanye west, etc.) and are talked about for their size on popular magazines. imagine if popular media for men were talking about leaked nudes of women (i am aware of the fappening, but that was largely suppressed by the overarching media outside of nerd circ…

yes because a lot of dating advice is not about converting AFC's to chad's anymore, it's about getting losers to becoming AFC's now (the base line). for men who are AFC's then early TRP is perfectly sufficient in explaining concepts, that's why a lot of TRP's PUA aspects is about how to talk to women in general guiding concepts rather than concrete "how to's" as it is to make you as attractive as YOU can be as an individual by codifying what makes men sexy.

manipulative definition: especially : serving or intended to control or influence others in an artful and often unfair or selfish way revealing clothes influences others in a selfish unfair way (it'd not be feasible for older waiters/waitresses and male waiters to take advantage of the same process to gain more tips)

i don't agree, the longer you stay single the less good options remain on the table. given women prefer older men, this means the pool of suitable men narrows the older one gets compared to trying to find a good guy who has good ambition and potential. i don't think they should settle for the first guy who comes along but it's foolish to pretend that GOOD PARTNERS aren't getting snatched up while others play the bachelor/bachelorette game.

i agree that status and money triumphs looks but people here who deny it have no status to leverage. local popular musicians fuck plenty hot low rent women because they have high local status. ugly frat boys run through college girls. it's apparent when someone compared manager to cashier, when both jobs have no status in practicality, that men here have no fucking clue what status is practically.

you are correct regarding "neutral in looks". women have a stop light system for men (red, yellow, green) where there's very very few men in the "green" and a ton of men in the yellow. men who are "yellow" are men who are "decently attractive" who they'd be willing to entertain if the guy played his cards right, which is where personality would come in. this would still necessitate "physical attraction" but it's not the visceral lust dudes here think it is, rather, it is "this guy looks good eno…

i don't mind colored hair, specifically red. girls in my area dye their hair red whenever they get out of a toxic relationship and/or got cheated on and to me its always been a sign of emotional baggage which i'm not interested in. i am in my 20s though, so i see what you mean re: your second point.

i don't see how "just because" something takes a lot of time and effort means that women must reward you with sex. you get jacked for yourself, getting jacked to get girls is a fools errand

looking old and young is a facial problem, not a bodily one. that being said if you're built like a greek god you're probably not gonna be mistaken to be a kid, but 15" arms aren't big enough to be that level
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 05:31 AM

it helps a lot in some ways -- women tend to auto perceive jacked guys as fuckboys and you get a lot more respect from men. there's no downsides to being muscular unless you're trying to go into runway modelling

assuming that suddenly men became more picky, there'd be far less relationships as men's role in relationships is to be the active aggressor while women's role is passive and filtering. lesbians find getting into relationships pretty hard, or at least the ones i'm friends with

there's many types of women who prefer differing archetypes of men, once you figure out the audience that you land best with, they come off like having no standards. if you haven't found your niche as a man then they come off like unreasonably high standards.

men approach whoever they want and have unlimited options, women are largely restricted to those who make their intentions obvious and filter from between them. obviously it comes off as easier for women because their job is to filter their available options

outside of a relationship if you're friends you observe them that way, if it's precursor to the relationship (talking stage) then you see how they treat others around them and the reputation they hold amongst the people around them.

trying makes you come off as unattractive with women you aren't approaching with intent while calm and confident may be more appealing -- furthermore, it could just boil down to your body language / other factors especially with night game
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 01:19 AM

most men are out of touch with what women find attractive and don't style themselves in attractive ways or groom themselves in styles that women find attractive

bro this post is useless, other men on here are ugly as fuck so you even getting a match a year makes you chad. standards here for chad are rock bottom because of how many dudes here are fuckin losers, most normal guys, including me, get ~3-5 matches per day if not way more unless they're genuinely ugly, which apparently a ton of men here are. if you're not getting results on OLD you are not average, you are ugly.
